“Small little restaurant that was pretty empty when we went on Thursday afternoon. Food came out fast. Green tea was a little mid Scallion pancakes had great flavor and texture 8/10 Shrimp rice wrapper was decent 7/10 The pork bun was huge, not exactly the size of 4 little buns but still a considerable amount. 6/10 Shrimp balls were fun. I'm used to the type with the little wonton flakes or whatever it is coming off of it but this had a soft exterior. Great amount of meat, good texture 9/10 My gf wanted to come here just because of the sticky rice and it was decent 7/10. Kind of what you can expect from looking at the picture“
“Well well well... why didn't I know about this place sooner?! My mommy treated me out for dinner in celebration of my birthday and we decided to eat family style because duah were family but because we are greedy too haha. Anywho.. I was very impressed by the interior as the restaurant was so cute inside--Very dim, and just a complete vibe. Our server was very patient and helpful with guiding us through the menu items. I had a blueberry lemon drop to start out which was very light, sweet and refreshing--My kind of drink. We ordered the salt and pepper wings and trio seafood, along with the string beans, authentic fried rice, shrimp pad Thai, sui mai and for dessert we tried the egg custard buns. Everything was quick, hot, flavorful and just perfect. I have not stopped thinking about this place since, and surprisingly the star of the show for me was the Egg Custard Buns which I tried for the first time and I was super impressed--They were warm, fluffy, and paired perfectly with the sweet custard on the inside, and it wasn't heavy either!! 10/10 across the board for me... Thanks Dim Sum House!“
“Uniquely seasoned food served promptly and pleasantly. Outdoor seating is available in a private booth design that's very 'public' since it's on the sidewalk. The interior design is remincent of authentic Chinese culture with wooden dragons carved in the wall. You can sit at the bar or sit in the main dining area. The culinary delights are streamed, gluten free or lightly fried. The chilli sauce/oil is a nice surprise it's fragrant with a hint of perfume of anise, cardamom and clove, amongst other herbs, all smothered in oils and Sichuan pepper. I highly recommend this spot.“
“Acquired catering for an event from DumpNRoll. The delivery to the location we specified was smooth, and deliverer was also so kind and smiley! Most of all, food was great. Highly recommend all three items we picked, which were their spring rolls, veggie dumplings and famous Philly cheesesteak wontons!“
“We got the pork soup dumplings and crab and pork soup dumplings as well as fried rice cake with pork. The soup dumplings are great 10/10. The wrapper was nice and thin but did not rip once. There was a great wrapper to meat ratio and there was plenty of soup in the dumpling. The ratios of all components were perfectly correct and on top of that, it was delicious. Definitely better hot though. It started to be more mid as it cooled but if you eat fast, you'll have a great experience. I also appreciated that the pork only soup dumpling tasted differently from the pork and crab soup dumplings as some places put minimal amounts of crab such that they taste largely the same. Wonderful wonderful experience, would recommend. The fried rice cake was good, a little more chewy than I expected. Essentially ttbeokki with lo mein taste for those wondering. 7/10 Loved this place Note: cash only“
“Service was great and I had a delicious honey iced green tea. My pork belly ramen was good but not like "whoa this broth" good that you sometimes find. They had a whole bunch of dim sum offerings I didn't try but looked good so a generous 4 stars.“
“This place is a gem . Don’t know why it wasn’t busy as hell when we went there because the service was great, the food was easily the best Chinese I’ve had in the city, and the portions were at least twice the size of any other place I’ve been to. Expect family style and leftovers . Orange chicken , hot and sour soup , scallion ginger shrimp and salt and pepper tofu are all perfected versions of themselves.“
“This is the perfect drunk food. We split 6 dumplings between the two of us, and it was a great snack size. Most of the flavors are 5 stars. The chicken ones are by far the best. The spinach cheese was pretty good, as was the cheesesteak. I actually disliked the french onion soup and would not get that one again. Service was quick and very pleasant!“
“The food was great and the ambiance was amazing. I went there for lunar new year dinner without a reservation and was seated within 25 minutes. The portions are worth the price and everything was seasoned well. However, they missed one of my orders and it was a little difficult to get attention of the waiters. Keep in mind it was lunar new year though. I still really enjoyed this dinner, and would recommend it! I told the waiter that the item never came and he took off the item from the bill without contention.“
“Very good dim sum! Casual vibe. Loved the shrimp and tofu dish glass noodles, and shrimp dumplings, but thought the soup dumplings and shumai lacked flavor. They honored happy hour prices on a Saturday and just before the HH cutoff. The bar never brought one of our drinks (a beer), but they credited our bill). Nice attentive wait staff. All and all, would go back.“
“Best deal in the area for dinner sized noodle soups (beef, pork, etc). Look in the "noodle" section for soups. Most are still only $9 - $11. And don't forget the soup dumplings !The waitress is always friendly and the place is always very clean. Thanks for letting me unscrew the light bulb to make it more atmospheric...lol“
“The best dumplings I've ever had! They're so delicious you don't need sauce; you can't even tell they're vegan. I like the Spinach and Potatoes but my favorite is the Butternut Squash. I buy them frozen from Market at the Fareway to cook anytime. If you love dumplings, you need to try MoMos!“
“Classic Chinese restaurant in Chinatown. The soup dumplings are solid, the chicken lo mein is classic and deserving of the "most popular take out dish," the trio dish of chicken, beef, and shrimp, and mapo tofu is classic. For around $70 this is well worth it to easily feed a family of four! Cheers!“
“We had my Mom's Birthday dinner at Lee How Fook. The food was delicious. We started with shrimp rolls, chicken lettuce wraps, wonton soup and crab ragoon. All delicious. Our entrees: Pepper steak, cashew scallops, pad thai shrimp, deep fried shrimp, chicken and broccoli, seafood fried rice, vegetable fried rice and buddha delight ( mixed vegatables). AGAIN, EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS!“
“On a business trip, tried a few high star restaurant in Chinatown. Quite disappointed. On the other hand, this restaurant is a pleasant surprise. Service is good, clean ambiance. If you want authentic Chinese food. Come here instead of EMei.“
“Great food ! Awesome selections! Really like the tea they bring to table ! Had the Lemongrass Chicken with Rice ! It was delicious and filling ! Also had the Spring rolls and the were very tasty and made with fresh ingredients ( veggies) ! Have been there before and will definitely return whenever close to restaurant !Vegetarian options: You will definitely find something to eat and enjoy !Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is wide and there is a outside ramp to front doors !“
“I don’t see any reason to go to any other dim sum spot in Chinatown, this one is perfect. It opens at 10:30am and when I arrived at 10:45am, it was already packed. The staff were very welcoming and explained the different tea options to me. I was even suggested to wait and let it brew a bit. There were a congee cart, dim sum cart, and dessert cart fully stocked around all the time, as well as some specialty items like coconut milk and pork bun. I absolutely loved the beef tripe, turnip cake, shrimp rice rolls, and greens, but my favorite were the chicken feet. I know that not everyone enjoys it, but to me this is a delicacy. In the evening, there was some music and entertainment.“
“Just Moved to this area and my friend brought me here because it’s his favorite Chinese restaurant and I definitely agree with him! The restaurant is adorable, with a beautiful design and atmosphere, love the drawing on the wall in particular. Food is delicious with a wide choice; the dumplings were delicious and juicy. I also highly recommend the special fried rice and Hong Kong Style Wings. The only regret is that we didn’t eat much and cannot try more things because we were super full! I will definitely be back:)BTW, we saw a group of people who brought burgers and tacos from nearby stores and ate here. They took advantage of the restaurant and just ordered some rice and finally returned the only entrée they ordered, make it messy on a big table and said they had no extra money for tips. Oh my god, I have never seen this kind of people before. But the restaurant manager and waitress were still very polite to them. Their service team is great and deserve respect!Parking: there are free garage parking upstairs“
“Our favorite place to go for dim sum. Food is excellent and served fast and hot. The place as a robot to bring food out of the kitchen to serving staff!! The soup dumplings are our favorite. We love the Singapore noodles, eggplant and string beans too.Don't miss this place when in China town.“
“I tried the cheesesteak bao buns from Bing Bing this past weekend at the Flavors on the Avenue food festival in East Passyunk. These bao buns were the best thing that my friends and I tried at the festival by far! We unanimously agreed on that :) The filling was very well seasoned and the bao bun itself had the perfecttt texture of soft on the inside w/ a little crunch on the outside. I definitely plan to go to Bing Bing for a full meal to try more items off their menu, and I'll leave a review when I do!“
