Excellent place for a special occasion. Delicious food, drinks and service. The tasting menu is also less expensive than most for a ton of amazing food.Dietary restrictions: Food options for GF folks too

I am very pleased with my experience here. I went with a group of 5 and ordered sample tasting, so we got to try a lot of different options they have. They have standard and an upgraded option (for just $10/person); it is well worth it to pay for the upgrade. I liked most of it. But what was exceptional is the liver goose, the duck scrapple, the wagyu and the sea bass. They do a nice show (at the bar) with some of their drinks as well. In this video I recorded them making my double knot Manhattan. They fire some cinnamon and fill your cup first with the smoke. It actually gives it a nice taste.

Double Knot offers a wonderful dining experience.Although I missed the opportunity to take a picture of every item that we ordered. I did capture some. Everything was outstanding! The food is remarkably fresh. And the service was great!I highly recommend visiting.

We came here with very high expectations but we're blown away by the amazingly prepared food and level of service. Lets talk about the food. We told the server what we liked and didn't like and the chef made the decisions for us. I can't recommend this enough. The chicken on the skewer ? was so good. I actually wish we ordered two of these. The fish tasted fresh and everything was so damn tasty. The servers that bring out the food tell you exactly what they are putting on the table. I cannot recommend this place enough. The only downside is that the lights need to be turned up a teensy weensy more. I'll try the tables by the chef next time since it's a little more well lit and you get a show while you are eating. Location is great. Drinks were great. A++++.Ps...Beware you will pay some high $$$$ for this meal but what you are paying for is the quality of the food and level of service you will get. This was a very nice dining experience.

Very good food and nice setting. Tried to go back a second night while away, but booked up. No to go so that was a downer.

Try cool Japanese spot. The lower dining room is very intimate and quiet. Great for a bigger group.

We came here during restaurant week, and the servings are just enough for each member of the group to try. This restaurant serves great food that makes you want to appreciate every bite. Sampan is linked, and this location is typically busy. Since the dining room was downstairs, there was a kind of nice corridor leading to it. You and your group can choose from a small variety of dishes to share at the table during restaurant week, with some items having an additional fee. There was a stronger romantic vibe. Here, the Kobe beef is a great choice.

Their HH menu is available from 4 to 7, offering rice, noodles, handrolls, skewers and sides between only $6-8. Undoubtedly a good bang for your buck with the portion and quality. You can literally stuff yourself with their food. We arrived at 4 and there was already a line!*Maitake Mushroom**OUR FAV. I like mushrooms and this was a standout. It was grilled to perfection, retaining the juicy and tender interior. It fully absorbed flavors from the marinade.*Edamame Dumplings*The dumplings were filled with mashed edamame with a gentle hint of truffle. The clear sake broth itself was very addictive. Suitable for people like me who have zero alcohol tolerance but still want a sip of mild sake.*Albacore TatakiA lightly seared tuna drizzled with a ginger ponzu sauce. It was cooked on the outside while rare on the inside. The citrusy flavor made the whole dish very appetizing.*Crispy Brussels Sprouts*The brussels sprouts were roasted to achieve a golden-brown exterior and seasoned with a blend of herbs. The crunchiness somehow reminded me of tempura shiso leaves.*Salmon Avo HandrollsYou can hardly go wrong with a salmon avocado roll if the ingredients are fresh.*The Sheet BendI didn’t try, but my friend said the alcohol was quite strong.

The food was incredible. 4 stars only because we had a reservation and still had to wait over half an hour for our table. The staff was extremely apologetic and kind about the situation, and the food was totally worth the wait!

Double Knot has officially secured a top spot on my list of exceptional happy hour experiences. A Saturday happy hour? Simply unbeatable. Despite indulging in six plates and four drinks, the total bill came to a surprisingly reasonable $77. The portions were generous, yet I felt perfectly satisfied without any heaviness. The service was outstanding, with Cierra, our server, being incredibly attentive. Our food arrived promptly and was impeccably fresh and piping hot. We ordered the kung pao wings (absolutely delicious), the flavorful crispy brussels sprouts, and the edamame dumplings paired with a delightful sauce. The salmon avocado and cucumber avocado rolls were exceptionally fresh, and the kim chee rice was a delightful surprise to end our meal. The atmosphere at Double Knot is quaint and charming. I must admit, I wasn't expecting such an exceptional experience, but I'm thrilled I decided to visit. I can't wait to return on my next trip to Philly.
