What a great spot! Bartenders were working so well together! I had some enchiladas, a beer, and tried a few mezcals. Food was delicious. Beer list was a decent mix of Mexican imports and some of the more popular big name brews. Both bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable, and it was a joy to watch them do their thing. Frida Cantina is a South Philly gem if ever there was one. If you’re there when Oscar is in, he is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, my friend and I tried about a half dozen spirits from Mezcals (espadín to tequilana to cenizo) to raicilla to sotol and each was unique and thoughtfully selected.
