I've walked by this place hundreds of times over the years and finally went inside this week. I thought it was just a dessert place but was pleasantly surprised they had soul food meals too. I got a platter of chicken, cabbage, and rice - and it was extremely tasty. I mixed the rice and cabbage together bc I love a good mix and it was awesome. I also got a slice of apple pie and it was out of this world good.

I tried this place off of TooGoodToGo since it wasn't too far off the beaten the track for me and the timing fit my schedule. I wouldn't typically walk into a place so local but not my neighborhood but it certainly doesn't mean that I shouldn't.
