We got married at Bok this past December and Machine Shop provided the morning-of pastries for the wedding party. Everything was amazing, if you’re considering a wedding at Bok this is a must. Setup was easy and painless and prices were totally reasonable. No notes.
A step above the rest. The sourdough is very moist with an open crumb. The croissants are buttery, crackly, and moist at the same time. They use a very nice chocolate. My only nitpick is that the chocolate chip cookies were almost like eating a bar of chocolate. Less chocolate and more height towards the center gives a gradient of flavors/textures. Friendly staff and comfortable eating area.

If I lived in Philly, Machine Shop would def be my regular spot. The quality and options resonate with Radio Bakery in NYC and I love them both!＊Cara Cara Croissant ??I was sent to heaven at first bite. This orange cream croissant was dangerously delicious. It was generously stuffed (yes, fully stuffed!) with light whipped cream and bits of candied orange. Chef’s kiss.＊Mushroom Danish ?I always prefer savory pastries so this one was right up my alley.
