This very well.may be the ONLY place I go to! I visited from Baltimore today and picked up two cheesesteaks, drove them 100 miles home, and they were STILL SO GOOD!The business is absolutely homey, the staff are amazing (and hilarious) and the atmosphere is electric! I knew I was gonna love this place from the moment I walked in, and I was right! First time in Philadelphia, and I wanted to try a real cheesesteak. I didn't want a tourist spot, so this was recommended. I walked in and wasn't acknowledged until one employee yelled to another to get their attention. She started my sandwich and then had to wait on another employee to finish the sandwich. It was difficult to hear over the grill and music playing at the bar connected to the restaurant. The employees were in no way rude, but they also seemed disinterested in serving....read full review

Excellent steak sandwich and at a reasonable price. Not thrilled about sitting in a bar to eat it and the booths were very tight and the tables didn't appear to be cleaned regularly
