My favorite Mexican restaurant in South Philly. I used to go every week before I move. The staff is very nice and accommodating. Owner is very nice and helpful. Must try dishes: Chilaquiles, carne asada, steak fajitas, tamales (only weekends). 11/10 spot.Vegetarian options: Clearly labeled what has meat and what doesn’t.Parking: It’s in the Italian market, parking is rough out here.Kid-friendliness: Great place to bring kids, had a good kids menu.
Amazing food!My most favorite of Mexican restaurants!Super friendly staff.Great non greasy Mexican food.Always the best quality meats and vegetables!But the food is top notch always.I'm a French trained Le Cordon Blue chef.... I'm super snobby about food.This place is above and beyond.I'd take a date here.I'd take visiting family or friends here.And I wouldn't do that normally with Mexican restaurants.It's nice decor inside ...& the food is fine dining quality.Even the salad dressing...read full review

Mole Poblano is a local gem. Second to none in every category from service and food to tacos and tamales. The enchiladas de mole was spicy, sweet and filling. Would also recommend the breakfast sandwiches which are a healthy size. Come hungry and leave happy!
