The actual restaurant is closed for repairs, but they have a good truck serving across the street. Got a whiz wit, it was ok. I can say I've been there now. Ordered like a tourist, didn't get reprimanded.

Typical Philly cheesesteak. Currently only a food truck due to renovations, but the cheesesteak was still tasty.

In town for Wrestlemania XL and Pat's did not disappoint. The line was down the block but moved fast, and cheesesteaks were worth it.

Had the cheesesteak and got American cheese to go with it. Oily and tasty! They work out of the truck across from the original Pat’s location. If you don’t know it, you might miss it!

About the last three times I have gone back to Philadelphia, I have always gone to Pat’s for cheesesteaks. I do not know what is it, but their cheesesteaks have a delightful and addictive flavor which makes you want to return time and again. My fiancée felt the same way after I took her down to Philly on our way back from NYC. She literally felt in love with the rapidly served hoagie. Because you order it and your food is made in a heartbeat. You rarely ever have to wait for your sub unless the line is long. But that has never been my case in this place. I strongly recommend it. Not because the Philly Cheesesteak was literally BORN in this restaurant, but because they know how to work with rapidness and quality despite the decades. I wish they remain in business for the next 500 years to come. Cent Anni!
It's good but I wouldn't go out of my way to get it again.Parking is a pain and the area does not seem safe. Wouldn't want to be there at night.

Quite a disappointing visit this evening. The ‘wit’ provolone cheese steak was:1. Dry, like the meat was over cooked2. Stale bread tasted like it had been sliced and waiting to be used for many hours3. Two windows service, one to order and pay for a sandwich and the second to order and pay for drinks and fries etc. is just stupid more trouble than it’s worthThe next time you’re in line at Pat’s, look over your shoulder, there are multiple other food options. Likely all better than Pat’s.

This IS NOT the King of Steaks. $75 for 3 sandwiches, 2 fries, & 3 canned cokes. We were looking forward to this all day. What a disappointment. Food was not hot, barely warm. Who puts pickled bell peppers on a philly? Service was rude. Overall, this place sucked. A frozen hot pocket would have been better. A damn shame.

They were currently under renovations in the building but servicing via the food truck on the street there. Pat's won the rivalry in my book in regards to the taste of the food

I’ve been dreaming about this cheesesteak for quite a while now can’t get out of my mind ever since I took that first bite. I knew that this was the best cheesesteak known to America. I highly recommend and you will not regret absolutely delicious. The cherry soda is to die for ???
