A little disappointed. Visited on a Sunday. They didn't have much left on the shelf. I should've taken it as a bad sign, but I went ahead and bought some pandedal anyway. Wasn't very fresh when I tried it at home the next dat. While at the store, I shared some halo halo with my wife, which was okay, but not really great. I was so excited to see that Red Ribbon was in the same plaza as Jolibee. Sadly, I came 30 minutes before closing so of course a lot of the pastries I wanted to buy were sold out. The kitchen was also closed so I couldn't try their spicy empanadas. I did have their butter mamon and yes, they are packaged but I still like them. I didn't care for the ube ensaimada. I think the cheese on top of the pastry overpowers the taste of the ube. Other that that, I will definitely be back...read full review

This is a great place to get Filipino baked goods if you're nostalgic for it. Keep in mind that Red Ribbon's actual bakery is in Northern California so the food in the NE Philly bakery is shipped from there, frozen. Don't expect it to taste the same as if you ate it at a Red Ribbon in CA where it's freshly made. I still find it pretty tasty, and I reheat the pandesal in my oven (350F for 5 or 10 mins) and that gets it pillowy soft inside and crispy exterior. The ensaymadas if...read full review
