Did not tell us right away that they could not deliver to our address. Instead cancelled right before we were expecting to receive our order. Very poor communication

Pizza was excellent! Service was terrible. Only one other table when we sat down. Waited and waited for menus. Ordered salad to split and one pizza with different toppings on each side to split. Chef actually brought our pizzas. We looked and he said you ordered half and half right. We said yes. Just didn’t expect to be on 2 different pans. Actually delicious. Place started to fill up. Server never stopped back again. We flagged him down for take home boxes. We flagged him down again for a bill that never came. We went up to the counter while he tried to wait on too many people at the same time. We actually paid for 2 pizzas. Not how we ordered it. Too expensive for what it was. Won’t be back.

First time trying this place, and everything was amazing. Will definitely be ordering from here again. Everything was fresh, full of flavor and cooked perfectly! 10/10 recommend!

I can tell the pizza is high quality, it just doesn’t taste good to me. They have smth weird going on where the dough is fermented ig? The basic pepperoni tasted like it had beer batter or tons of vodka sauce baked in. Idk I’m sure it’s for somebody just not for me.

I ordered for delivery at 7:05.My pizza was estimated to be delivered by 7:50-8:10.I did not get it until 9:25. It took 2 hours and 20 minutes to arrive. It was cold and the red sauce also tasted strange.

I ordered a plain cheese pizza for take out on a Sunday afternoon. I had to wait 25 minutes but it was worth it. Like most places in the city, parking options are very limited. When I walked in to their shop I saw several happy customers eating away, enjoying their food. The place seats about 20 people. Nice low key , no frills, South Philly Italian pizza parlor vibe with very good food. It beats standing in line at Angelo’s.

This was my second time dining here, so obviously I went back for a reason.I would like to preface this review by saying, I came in at 8:30 when they close at 9 so I can slightly understand why the staff may have been frustrated. However, I work in the service industry and have been waiting tables for years and am always happy to make those extra dollars from that last table that lingers in… so not sure why this experience was so horrible. We were immediately greeted with hostility and frustration from the waitress who gave us mid service at best. We knew exactly what we wanted to order and got our food in fast as to best work with her since we knew we were being inconvenient for coming in late. The atmosphere of the restaurant is definitely awkward, but I knew that going in. What I did not expect was the blasting of what I can best describe as “corny Netflix romcom tv show pop rap” music. The music was so loud that I got up and asked the waitress if she could turn it down. The chef responded to me with a happy, “I would love to do that for you”. He thankfully lowered the music, but then 5 minutes later he turned it up even louder than before. We took this as our message to leave. So, we boxed our food and did just that. While I would love to at least give Square Pie credit for their food, our Cesar salad was subpar and our Soppressata pizza was over salted and under cooked. Was excited about our new potentially go-to neighborhood pizza spot, but will sadly never be returning.

Went as a group of 7 and got multiple dishes to share. While I prefer NY or Sicilian style, the pizza here was phenomenal. We got a plain white, plain red, a red with mushrooms and peppers, and a red with sausage and mushrooms. We also got the house salad, arancini, and meatballs. Everything was cooked perfectly and delicious. The service was a little slow, but they were incredibly busy with takeout orders. Normally this is fine, but they only brought six plates and water glasses for the seven of us and it took a long time for them to bring one more of each. The music was also very loud and we were sat right under the speaker so it was hard to hear people when they were talking.
