I'm really on the fence about giving a glowing review. The chefs deserve every nice thing I could possibly have to say, but I don't want this place to blow up and get impossible to book.Every course has a different flavor profile and perfect seasoning. Dishes change as ingredients are available. I've had things like toro and uni before, but not as buttery-soft and creamy as what I got here. It is simply on a much higher level from what you get at your local sushi joint. I felt like I was on a cloud. The only thing I did not enjoy was hearing Chef say "ok, this is the last one!"It's an extremely reasonable price for omakase (paid in advance). This isn't the place to be restrained - trust your chefs!Behave yourselves, you hungry monsters. You have a real treasure here.

You need to come here for awesome sushi and even a more fun experience! There are only 8 seats and its an interactive omakase experience with the chefs. Chef Mitsutaka is very peronable as he prepares sushi in front of you. Each dish was amazing! Highlights were the eel, uni and shrimp. This restaurant is not inexpensive, but well worth it for a different night out.

This was a great eating "experience", with 8 of us sharing a small room in the back of the restaurant. Two servers prepared and served a variety of sushi (1 piece of 17 different varieties) and explained them to us. The food was delicious and one of the servers who did almost all of the talking was very enthusiastic and engaging. The exorbitant cost of the dinner is difficult to justify, but it was a terrific meal for an occasion.

This was truly a spectacular experience. Philadelphia is blessed with a great omakase scene. However this omakase is on the best I’ve enjoyed including my travels to Tokyo and Kyoto. This is a must try experience for the discriminating global traveler and foodie. Enjoy you’ll be happy you did!
