Wasn't expecting anything above average due to being places in a strip mall and not very fancy. Wow!! Highly impressed with the food. One of the best cheesesteaks in the area. Fries were great also.
Phoenixville is known for their number of pizza places.. And it's a constant debate within the locals which is the best. Hog island, hands down has the best food overall for any option. Sandwiches, cheesesteaks, pizzas, wraps, and wings.. we have had it all and they do NOT disappoint. Not to mention the owner Dimitri will stop at nothing to help his customers. We get take-out from this location. I love that they have fried mushrooms as not many places do. Their cheesesteaks are good although the rolls could be better. Good selection of items, reasonable prices.
