“For six years I have been looking for a new favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh since my old favorite one closed. I have never found a place that had the perfect food and atmosphere I was looking for until I entered Lilith last night. Everything about this restaurant is phenomenal. The service from being greeted to the absolutely awesome server we had was excellent! The food had a wow factor rarely found in Pittsburgh. I’m not usually a huge fan of how vegetables are cooked most places and the veggies in my dish just blew things out of the water. You could tell they were fresh and local too. The fish I had was just amazing. It was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Needless to say I will be back again and again now to experience more culinary delights!”

I am very sensitive to (hot) spices, but I want to enjoy the flavors of Indian food. If I ask for a 0 the spice level feels too hot for me. Last time I came, I asked for them to adjust the spice level to be milder than 0. They were able to reduce the heat in the dish to levels I could handle without reducing the flavor. I have not dined in at this restaurant, but enjoy the ambience of the place. It is clean and the decor is eye catching.”

“the one white lady there assumed I was trying to get extra food for less money. but I opt for the more expensive breakfast option and ASKED the person waiting on me if I can replace the grits with a meat. he charged me for the $10 breakfast meal AND $3 for the extra meat making it $14 altogether with tax.so he didn't opt the grits out for the meat. she came to my table with an attitude and walked away from me even tho I wasn't finished explaining what happened. To that lady...PLEASE don't assume ppl are trying to do wrong. like YOU said the guy doesn't really wait tables and this was only my SECOND time there that's why I asked if I could do that and he still didn't do it cause he charged me for the 10 breakfast meal and 3 for extra meat.”

“A group of 5 of us visited Dish last night and the meals were amazing. Grilled Squid, the best I have ever had. Where else can you find it not breaded and fried? Add to that their amazing sardines so fresh and good. Pasta Funghi another high. Exquisite detail to taste in every dish. The owners go way out of their way to make you feel welcomed and happy and very satisfied. A must visit when you are lucky enough to get a reservation though other friends have happily sat at the bar for dinner just to be there!! Kudos to Dish!”

This family not only knows how to make amazing tacos, burritos, etc., but they also know how to feed the soul of a community. From their donation based coffee station to their pay it forward meals to their community meals at the end of the day when they have some extra ingredients, everyone is treated with respect and dignity. If you are craving anything on their menu, you won’t be disappointed. This is a must visit establishment when in the neighborhood.”

“I happened upon this coffee shop on a whim and felt welcomed from the moment I walked through the door. Honestly, it was like I stepped into a cozy fantasy novel. The atmosphere is friendly and you can *feel* the care and thoughtfulness that goes into the service. There are so many drink choices that I'm glad there's a wheel to spin for inspiration. Fate landed on a spiced pear chai and it was phenomenal. I already want to go back.”

“The Market in Verona is so awesome. It is so great to go in and get good quality food that you can reheat at home. I recently got the Eggplant Parmesan, pasta and risotto balls. Everything was so delicious and enough for another dinner. My husband got the Chicken Parmesan and really enjoyed it also. The service at the Market is outstanding and it was so nice to also meet Andrew the owner. I am looking forward to coming back again and getting more of this high quality and delicious Italian Food that reminded me so much of what my Mommy used to make. I highly recommend them.”

They showed us to our table which included one of the finest views of Pittsburgh. My boyfriend and I came to celebrate our 8th year anniversary and our server Sydney truly made it special for us. The food was exquisite and each dish brought out looked like pure art. The crab cake (suggested by Sydney) was off the charts, some of the best I’ve had. Chef Dee really out did himself as our food was spectacular. Definitely a great place to celebrate a special occasion and would recommend to all of my friends and family!”

“First time ever experiencing a twin peaks. Many of my friends and family have raved about other locations so when we saw one on our travels we decided to stop in. Here is my review in honesty: I know today was a big game day but we came in early to avoid that and potentially have a nice lunch. We told them that it was our first time, we weren’t told we had to scan for the menu until we looked down and saw that. Service was prompt but their customer service attitude was poor. When our food arrived the girl who brought it placed it on the other side of the table to where we had to grab it and place it in front of us. Our waitress seemed drab and seemed like we were wasting her time which isn’t exactly the best when someone is coming there the first time. Now the food itself was great, the decor was lovely put together but they need to work with their staff on being more personable. They weren’t smiling, talkative, they were in their phones, bartenders were complaining loudly. Honestly I felt like I was at a low budget Hooters mixed with the attitude of a Dicks. I would absolutely recommend this place for the food but not for the customer service.”

Elijah was very attentive and always happy to meet my toddlers many requests 😅 Also would like to add that even though they were super busy, it took them less than 10 minutes to get us seated and the food didn’t take long to come out at all. They are made from a yeast dough, with caramelized brown sugar inside, smallish, and served warm in a napkin so that you can take it with you while window shopping. Please note: these are not meant to be served with ice cream on top. The ice cream and waffles are both very good by themselves. The owner only serves them together because people ask for that, but I think they ask for it because they think that's how it's meant to be served. (At least, that's what we thought!)”

I had to try the Super Bowl & the Green Goddess drink. I was embraced with kindness & feed with tasteful healthy food, Live Fresh is the whole package of a true community business. I am so appreciative of their ethics, morals & community concern as an actual real business that cares & demonstrates that concern for community. A woman owned, black owned minority business. Booked Bourbon & Bridges through Resy for a solo dinner and was happy to put my Amex Resy credits to use. Conveniently located right across from the Courtyard downtown where I usually stay on business trips, it sits on a lively strip of bars and restaurants that makes for an easy evening stop.
The space itself has a great atmosphere — stylish décor with an impressive display of spirits behind the bar that immediately sets the tone for a cocktail-focused experience. The drink menu is extensive, with plenty of creative options. I ordered the Renegade — made with gin, peach nectar, passionfruit liqueur, lemon juice, simple syrup, and blueberry boba pearls — and it was excellent. Refreshing, balanced, and fun without being overly sweet.
Food was more mixed. The grilled chicken sandwich, served on a pretzel bun with chipotle aioli and toppings, was unfortunately pretty bland and forgettable. The Brussels sprouts were much better — nicely pan-fried with great flavor, although slightly sweeter than I would have preferred.
Overall, Bourbon & Bridges is worth visiting for the drinks and atmosphere more than the food. I’d absolutely come back to work through more of the cocktail menu.”

“This was my first time going there. I've heard so much about them now. I live just down the street from them. I had ordered the chicken ranch and bacon sandwich. The sandwich was horrible. It had a 1 a piece of bacon on it that looked like it was sitting around for about a week. It was soggy and black and dark. Now, we all know. Bacon is supposed to be crispy if I didn't ask for the onions, I guess that's all that would have been on. There would be just the bacon in the sauce. The sandwich was called and so was the fries. The fries did not have any salt on them. All I can say is that it was horrible. And I will not be going back again. I do not understand how they got 4 or 5 stars.”

“As a Chinese international student, I highly recommend 川悦喆 if you’ve been missing authentic Chinese food from home. The restaurant is very clean and cozy, and hearing Chinese music playing in the background honestly made me feel so comfortable and nostalgic.
Most importantly, the food tastes incredibly authentic — literally the exact flavor I’ve been craving and thinking about every day since coming to the U.S. It truly feels like a taste of home. Definitely one of the best spots for Chinese students in Pittsburgh!”

“A group of 5 of us visited Dish last night and the meals were amazing. Grilled Squid, the best I have ever had. Where else can you find it not breaded and fried? Add to that their amazing sardines so fresh and good. Pasta Funghi another high. Exquisite detail to taste in every dish. The owners go way out of their way to make you feel welcomed and happy and very satisfied. A must visit when you are lucky enough to get a reservation though other friends have happily sat at the bar for dinner just to be there!! Kudos to Dish!”
