I have been here before, the hoagie was mid at best. Additionally, they do not open at 11 am. More like 12:30pm at the earliest. In the past 3 weeks before writing this I have tried to order via phone and online from 11am to 12:30pm to no avail. Cancillas does not care about your lunch

All of the food was great. The stuffed banana peppers were an absolute game changer. I could have eaten those as my meal and been completely satisfied. Wonderful service as well!
I had a pickup order and I ordered the shrimp scampi and my boyfriend had the gnocci. I LOVE salt but the food was too salty to eat to the point that neither of us finished our meal. They forgot my bread that was included with my meal and my salad came with no dressing. I'm not typically someone to leave a review but I wouldn't want someone to have the same experience.

The food was amazing and the history of the family’s recipes’ was fascinating! We loved the lasagna with rich meat sauce perfectly balanced with cheeses and noodles - best we’ve had! The stromboli was excellent and a favorite of our family. The owner, Donny, took the time to share his family story - starting with his immigrant Italian grandparents from Sicily. If you are looking for great authentic Italian take-out food, this is your place!

I drove from Bloomfield to the south side to pickup a Italian hoagie lettuce tomato and onion ( I specifically said no Italian seasoning) I want mayo instead, well waited a good half hour for it . I got it drove back to Bloomfield. He gave me a Italian hoagie lettuce tomato onion and Italian dressing. Then I tried calling the pizza shop, and they kept hanging up on me, what the heck really. It wasn't even busy when I went I went in, this guy can't make a simple Italian hoagie. My wife can't have Italian dressing. Ron C

Ordered take out to curb a pregnancy craving - spaghetti & meatballs. I will say, the sauce and meat balls were great! Flavorful and meatballs were a good size. My biggest hang up was the portion. There was very little pasta in my dish. 1) I was taken back by the size of container used and I thought it would just be full but then I opened it and there was hardly any pasta filling the container. 3 good size meatballs were provided though.. for the cost charged to the consumer.. pasta is the cheapest part for the business. Portion size just wasn't there for me for $13.99. Salad was huge, chopped and was plentiful with toppings. However they didn't provide dressing although I picked one online with my order. I'm assuming it was forgotten. The bread also provided with the pasta dish was not in the bag or with either dish. So 2 items were left off the order. Service was quick, maybe too quick since items were left out. However the pasta dish was delicious. Establishment is very tiny, one table so really meant for carry out only.

Ordered via Slice for delivery. Order to be delivered in ~1 hour. Waited. 1 minute before delivery order was cancelled. Called Slice to resolve, Restaurant did not answer for slice. I tried calling restaurant directly, no answer. Slice refunded. Slice said Restaurant does not have a driver. Hint: Don't take delivery orders if you don't deliver.Parking: street parking only

Ordered grilled chicken sandwich, they toast the bread, but part of my loaf was toasted black. It looked like it had caught fire, apparently this is acceptable.
