The food was amazing and the history of the family’s recipes’ was fascinating! We loved the lasagna with rich meat sauce perfectly balanced with cheeses and noodles - best we’ve had! The stromboli was excellent and a favorite of our family. The owner, Donny, took the time to share his family story - starting with his immigrant Italian grandparents from Sicily. If you are looking for great authentic Italian take-out food, this is your place!

I drove from Bloomfield to the south side to pickup a Italian hoagie lettuce tomato and onion ( I specifically said no Italian seasoning) I want mayo instead, well waited a good half hour for it . I got it drove back to Bloomfield. He gave me a Italian hoagie lettuce tomato onion and Italian dressing. Then I tried calling the pizza shop, and they kept hanging up on me, what the heck really. It wasn't even busy when I went I went in, this guy can't make a simple Italian hoagie....read full review

I had an incredible experience at Cancilla's Sicilian Kitchen & Pizzeria. The pizza was hands down the best I've ever had - delicious, fresh, and with the perfect balance of flavors. The service was top notch, with Don Deering being an absolute gem. He brought out our pizza beautifully plated and even took the time to chat with us, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Cancilla's and give it a full 5-star rating!
