A not so hidden gem. This shadyside stalwart has great bar food and incredible wait staff who are just plain fun. Trivia and karaoke are a blast (though they start a bit late for those of us well beyond college age).If you want a local bar with carpeted floors, look no further.
I almost don't want to reveal our spot, but the breakfast on weekends here is a well-kept secret. They haven't raised the prices like everywhere else in the last few years, and they were already low to begin with. For coffee and a big filling breakfast, you can make it out for under $10 (seriously).
