“Definitely the best Jamaican food I've ever had, I only wish I had gone to this place sooner. We tried the j*** chicken mac and cheese in addition to the brown stew chicken with rice, and they were both super flavorful and well portioned. I highly recommend trying this place for yourself.“
“I don't review places at all but I took my co workers here for lunch to reward their hard work and I must say, I recommend this place. They were polite, fast and easy going and the food was amazing. The curry chicken is delicious and so is the jerk chicken.“
“I had a wonderful time at Wilson's. Today is my daughter Deannas Birthday. The chicken is delicious, crispy like i like it.No smoking! Everyone is welcomed! Ms. Wilson makes you feel at home. See you there! The one owner had the same name as my mom, Harriet. My mom is Harriet McWilson Collie. Felt at home for the second time. I'll be there!“
“Sooo yummy omg. The restaurant is relatively small and more of a take out experience, but the vibes overall are very friendly. The guy serving our food helped us pick out stuff and gave us the best suggestions. Portions are huge and definitely can be shared w friends.“
“I had my first authentic Caribbean food yesterday at Paulines and it was delicious! I had ox tail, red beans and rice and Mac n cheese. everything was fantastic!! my friend got jerk chicken which was also delicious! I can't wait to come back and try more! it smelled so delicious as soon as you walk it!! thanks for the awesome first experience!!“
“We visited Leon’s tonight based on recommendations from a friend, and we are very glad we did. The owner and the waitress on staff were extremely friendly and attentive! The food was fantastic and we will certainly frequently visit the restaurant. Can’t wait to try the seafood boil!“
“Coconut shrimp and paella are always the must-ordered here. Also tried the plantain bowl and it's good. We were told the key lime pie is 100% homemade here. Worth try because it comes with the novel comb that melt marshmallows on top. The dishes are a bit over seasoned but overall is good. A good chill place to go.“
“Just ordered from here 10/10 had the oxtails and curry chicken with two sides (white rice and Mac& cheese) I normally order from royal Caribbean but they was closing so I gave this place a try. This is now my second favorite soul food/ Caribbean restaurant in Pittsburgh. You can’t really find too many since it’s a predominantly white city but I’ll definitely order from here again and recommend this restaurant for people seeking real authentic Caribbean food. Only thing I would suggest for the restaurant is better Mac and cheese, mine was a little dry, I had to season it up a little when I received it. It Wasn’t nasty however, just dry. Other than that 10/10 must try again !“
“One of my favorite restaurants to visit while traveling in the Pittsburgh area is Kaya. The food is great. A friend and I share the same birthday in June, and we've attended Kayafest several times. Where else can you find "eclectic island eats"?“
