Don't know why this place doesn't have way more reviews and hasn't blown up yet, but it deserves so much more hype!! Las Palmas has the most authentic tacos I've had anywhere in Pittsburgh. It's essentially a taco stand outside of a Mexican grocery store -- you can't get any more authentic than that! The taco stand outside is very good. You have to go inside to the cash register where you pay for the tacos first, then give your receipt to the man at the taco stand where you order your tacos. Order when it's busy, tacos aren't great if it's not busy as the meat sits and looses freshness. But tacos are good.

So the tacos are made on the grill top right outside of the grocery store. You go inside to pay ($3/taco) then hand the receipt to the cook and tell him your order. While they make your tacos, you peruse the salsa bar. You can add as much onions, pico de gallo, and cilantro as you want (so I piled up). So, so good. I was searching for an authentic taco place and I found it in Las Palmas.
