MadMex is one of my favorite restaurants in the Pittsburgh area and this location did not disappoint. Although I am not a vegetarian, I love the selection for those that are. On this visit I had the tofu and mushroom fajitas and they were delicious!

The bartender was awesome. But the food and prices are questionable. Overrated.

We were sat and waited 9 minutes and no server arrived. I went back to the host stand and inquired as to who the server is. Young female went to locate said server. Our table was near the host stand and during the entire meal all you can see and hear are several young people standing around laughing out loud with no regard to the diners trying to enjoy the meal and ambiance. Very disappointing.

I was really pleasantly surprised by the service and food this time around. It feels like they've only gotten _better_ over time (I haven't been in a while). I had some vegetarian tacos which were so good, genuinely surprised and delighted; and the service was fast and professional. What a well run business.A couple things worth noting: burritos are more like fork food than finger food (they're square), and fries were good but nothing particularly special.

Mad Mex is pretty good, all around, though how they box their to go items (like fries that go soggy in minutes due to condensation) leave something to be desired. This time, we went in person with a group of four and we're seated at a 8 person high top. The service was good enough; however the food runner could not be bothered to put the plates in front of each person. Instead, she asked for us to pass the hot plates down the line or on another occasion put it at the end of the table for us to grab and quickly walked away. Such a weird experience...

What can I say, I just keep coming back. No added sugar and plenty of booze in the margarita! Tasty food too.Kid-friendliness: Don't feel bad if your kids make some noise here, it's a bar, we don't mind. Fun drawing stuff too.

Went to lunch today. The server was so nice. My turkey had aluminum foil in it!!! She took it back to the kitchen and apologized. That could hurt someone if they would of eaten that... no management came over to apologize or even talk to me about it.... they weren't even

After a morning of sweating our butts off my friend treated me to a lunch. Both of us wanted to treat ourselves to a margarita and she wanted to show me their apple cider margarita. Upon arriving we were seated immediately and provided waters. We ordered our margaritas then later found that they were doing a deal for being in business for 30 years. The deal was: Two 16oz House Margs, Drafts or soft drinks, Pickadippa & Chips, Choice of 2 Mad Mex Namesake Burritos or Quesadillas: Choose Birria, Carnitas, Chicken Tinga or Portobello, Brownie to share and Two souvenir Mad Mex pint glasses for $40. We were like can't pass that up. When the waiter came back we asked if we could actually do that deal and she reported that we could. For dips we got the guac, pineapple salsa and cheese. I am such a fan of their guac and it did not disappoint. My friend suggested I try the pineapple so we got it. Lets just say I am know a fan...love the sweet and the spicy. I then ordered the portabella quesadilla, it was packed and so filling. The brownie outta this world and couldn't finish. I am SUCH a fan of their decor and always love going into all of their locations. Could stare around the restaurant for hours. Our waitress was great, so helpful and attentive.

I've been to Mad Mex twice and both times I was very disappointed. The food is remarkably bland. At least that is consistent with every other aspect of my experience there.
