I was really pleasantly surprised by the service and food this time around. It feels like they've only gotten _better_ over time (I haven't been in a while). I had some vegetarian tacos which were so good, genuinely surprised and delighted; and the service was fast and professional. What a well run business.A couple things worth noting: burritos are more like fork food than finger food (they're square), and fries were good but nothing particularly special.
Mad Mex is pretty good, all around, though how they box their to go items (like fries that go soggy in minutes due to condensation) leave something to be desired.This time, we went in person with a group of four and we're seated at a 8 person high top. The service was good enough; however the food runner could not be bothered to put the plates in front of each person. We were sat and waited 9 minutes and no server arrived. I went back to the host stand and inquired as to who the server is. Young female went to locate said server. Our table was near the host stand and during the entire meal all you can see and hear are several young people standing around laughing out loud with no regard to the diners trying to enjoy the meal and ambiance. Very disappointing.
