I am a rapid rewards dining member and I selected this restaurant as I was close to it and they were offering rewards on the day I was visiting.I visited on 3/30. I walked in and there is no greeter. When I’m finally noticed I am told I can sit at the bar. I walk up to the bar and it is FILLED with dirty dishes and glasses the entire length. Only two people are sitting at the bar.The bartender is working on tidying up some glasses at the end of the bar, and so I chose a seat further down, as it has a view of the TV. I figure it’s going to get cleaned soon enough. Besides, there is nowhere else to sit that does have plates and glasses. Instead, I overhear the bartender complaining to his coworker that he was cleaning that spot just for me and I just walked by him and sat down further down the bar. Well, if I would have been acknowledged then maybe I would have done that. Then he proceeds to come down the bar and give me the third degree about my choice of spot to sit. Look dude, if you actually took the time to clear the bar and actually…. ahem…. bartend, we wouldn’t have had this issue. There is no reason to be talking down to me like a child for something I had no part in. My only choice of seat on the entire bar was amongst dirty dishes. I don’t mind that, it’s gonna get cleaned, but when you start badmouthing me in front of your coworkers and then come give me a talking to like I did something wrong, now I take offense. The rest of the meal was pretty much the same. Employees talking loudly and playing music out of view to my left, and the bartender feuding with his coworkers to my right. Fantastic ambiance! And the final cherry on top is that I was never rewarded my rapid rewards points despite the restaurant offering rewards every day of the week, and being advertised on the portal. After reaching out to rapid rewards, I am told that the restaurant was not offering rewards until 4/4. What? So you actively advertise yourself as being a part of a program, but refuse to reward points during that time? This place is messed up. Just stay away.

Absolutely loved this place! There was quite a line up on a Friday night but we were seated quickly and the host was lovely. It had a wonderful atmosphere and a small but enticing menu. Loved the chalk board display for all of their craft beers. We ended up trying a wood-fired pizza and it was some of the best we've had. Good location and absolutely worth trying. Highly recommend trying the Calabrian pizza.

The wait for a table on a Friday night around 6pm was 45 minutes, but there were 2 empty seats at the bar so I found myself there for dinner. The service was on point! I’ve never seen Brussels sprouts this big. Calamari cooked to a t. Food was excellent and will absolutely be back!

My husband and I stopped by during our Pittsburgh vacation last fall. We hadn’t came across any recommendations to come here, but we love pizza and decided to give this place a try. We loved this pizza so much we came here twice. The pepperoni bread is the best appetizer! The service was amazing and we especially loved the dark atmosphere. I know dark dim lit places aren’t everyone’s cup of tea but we LOVE that. We still talk about this pizza often half a year later and we’ve already agreed to come back later this fall. I can’t recommend this place enough!

This is a fantastic restaurant serving creative pizzas, salads, appetizers and an assortment of entrees ranging from brisket Mac and cheese (my favorite) to salmon, steak and sometimes duck. A very nice feature is that every salad can be bought as a half portion. They do not take reservations, so it's walk in only, but we had no wait getting a party of 7 in around 5 pm. They do get busy by 6. The carnivore, Mediterranean and Forest pizzas are great. The Calabrian could have used more Calabrian chilis. Anything with the house smoked pork belly (bacon candy, BLT salad, carnivore, pesto) is worth getting. My favorite, though is the brisket Mac and cheese. As I wrote in my blog on the best restaurant mac and cheese dishes across the country, "This comes in a hearty ceramic bowl featuring fresh cavatappi spirals in a white cheddar sauce, punctuated by wood-smoked beef brisket, caramelized onions, and a perfectly balanced deep red, tart-sweet barbecue sauce."Service is fabulous. Our waiter did separate checks for our table, and made up a version of southern sweet iced tea using simple syrup for my husband. Definitely one of our favorite restaurants to enjoy before a show in the cultural District.
