I had to chance to dine at Taipei for the first time in years since moving out of Pittsburgh. The experience was just as amazing as it was the first time I ate there back in the 90's. My personal favorite dish has always been the beef and mixed vegetables. I just love the baby corn! We picked up an entree to share and were definitely satisfied. It's pricier than what I normally go for but the portion justifies it; one person could probably get two or three meals out of it. And a hearty amount of sauce meant I had some leftovers to cook with later in the week.My main quibble is that the sesame chicken's breading did not stand up to that much sauce on the ride home, so it wasn't contributing much to the taste or texture.

It’s good, but I’ve had better… the hot and sour soup was hardy and flavorful. The Basil Chicken is good, but greasy. The Amazing Chicken and General Tsao’s Chicken are good and flavorful, but a bit overbreaded and greasy. Overall, not bad
