Had an amazing dinner at Tamarind in Oakland last night.. delicious food, free roses and box of chocolates for Valentine’s day, excellent service and the staff really tried to make the evening special for everyone. Chicken tikka masala, Saag Paneer, Shrimp kebab, were excellent. I have been going to Tamarind for a while but their attention to detail and welcoming atmosphere last night was top tier. Delicious indian food always!
No, that's not a filter - the manchurian gravy at Tamarind really is that vibrant! I absolutely love Indian cuisine, and while Pittsburgh doesn't have a ton of good Indian options, Tamarind does alright. After having gone to India, I certainly am more picky about the food. No excuses!!. It was great the food quality is very authentic and indian. The crowd amazed me more since a lot of them were native. The service was good. Only if they could add directions to handwash and certain aesthetic part of the area they are doing great. When I was dinning it was crowded and then the services were unattended.
