Did delivery. Ordered the Drumsticks with Hot Honey, Hushpuppies with Comback Sauce, and Homemade Biscuits with Blackberry Jam and Honey Butter. I was a huge fan of the Drumsticks. Cooked perfectly, not overseasoned. Could argue slightly underseasoned, but would take away from the hot Honey. Great pairing. The Hushpuppies were overcooked, so I can't really judge how good they were. The Comback sauce saved them, that sauce is on point, wished the hushpuppies weren't overcooked. The biscuits were also somewhat overdone. I feel that the Blackberry jam was a tad too tart. I didn't taste the honey in the honey butter. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't good, either. I am encouraged with the potential, though. I will give them another shot.

The chicken here is amazing!! I wasn't a big fan of the mash potatoes (they needed to be thicker and they really didn't have much flavor) or the shrimp and grits (shrimp was fine but the grits and gravy was kind of like one big clump). However, I do think that I may have liked ut better if I had dined in. The Mac and cheese was really good and the collier greens were amazing!! Will definitely order again!!!
Came in late with fifteen of us and a huge crowd after the opera. They were a bit short-staffed, but you'd never have known. Service was quick, friendly, and professional. Food was excellent.

Pretty solid spot for Southern-style food, especially fried chicken and sandwiches. Personally, I just wanted to have a simple comfort food type of dinner. So, when I got takeout from here, I tried their Mac and cheese.Firstly, the portion. It was a lot bigger than I expected (although, it was also $9 for Mac and cheese). I still think that’s a pretty great deal! The Mac n cheese included breadcrumbs and 5 cheeses.It was pretty good. The breadcrumbs added a nice touch of crunch on the top, and they are nicely seasoned. The Mac itself is somewhat bland, but quite creamy. I would have liked more cheesiness but it’s nice it wasn’t oily, just a bit liquidy with the creaminess.All in all, very solid Mac n cheese and solid place overall. Nothing crazy, but pretty decent.Vegetarian options: Not the best for vegetarians! Mostly chicken entrees

Omggg our first time experience here and the food was amazing ! But our server was even more amazing!! Citney was so full of light , she made us feel extra welcomed . Made sure we had everything from the utensils , refills , and food . Hands down the best experience I had with any server from any restaurant. Our host was also amazing !! She accommodated our seating since we wanted somewhere by the window , and she was also welcoming. She warm transferred citney to us instead of just seating us and walking away , I never got her name ? She was the opening host ! Me and my family will definitely be back again . Shoutout to the chefs too , the food was nowhere near basic, it was sooo delicious ✌?✌?

I've ordered from here countless times but last night I ordered and several things just seemed off.- Chicken was extremely salty to the point it was almost inedible.-Did not get any hot honey.- Fries were ice cold and stale like they were sitting in a fridge.-The sauce for the fries was also off and super chunky.Overall was pretty disappointed use to love this place.

Food was 10/10. Drinks were good. Service was slow and never received a drink that was ordered. Took forever to get our bill and even longer to get our cards back. They were not very busy so not sure what the issue was.

Our server was the proper balance of kindness professionalism and friendly. The food was amazing. My daughter and I had the spoon bread and a grilled cheese. They put a whole new spin on a grilled cheese and it's amazing. Everybody should try it.
When we got there was told it would a a 30 minute wait but probably not that long. We waited over 30 minutes —-but the worst part is they seated 3 groups of people who did did not have reservations immediately with no wait and they did not sit at the bar. (We were only a party of 4) When we asked they said oh you are on our list.

Sadly, we never got our food. After waiting an hour for some appetizers and sides, while watching other tables who arrived later than us get served, we left. The restaurant seemed nice and was not too busy, which is why it is such a shock that the service was so bad. Only go there if you have unlimited time to wait.
We had a 4:30 reservation and did not receive our food until 5:45. We were going to a show at the Benedum and had to rush to eat. This wasn't easy for my 81 year old Mother. The ladies sitting next to us got up and left due to the long wait time for food. This is the third time that we ate here and had to wait a long time for our food. You would think that I would have learned my lesson but I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Our total experience was unique, and we’ll leave it at that, but we will DEFINITELY be back because the food is unbelievably tasty and A+ for customer experience from the management!! Their chicken is unlike anything… makes your eyes pop! Bravo to you, we’ll see you next time!
