My partner and I have been coming to Mountain Top for the last 2 years for weekend getaways. Each year we stay in one of the cabins. This past September we stayed in the Pines. The cabins are exactly as you expect an aesthetically pleasing cabin to be- equipped with a bathtub, fire place and private bathroom. The hot tub is the highlighted of a long cold days end. This is our favorite coffee shop close to home. Great coffee, sweets, and soups at the cafe. The staff are extremely friendly, kind, and helpful. The fireplace is a great place to sit and read by or just relax. The lodging is beautiful as well and it is set in a nice location, close to many key tourist attractions. Don’t miss a chance to stop here for coffee, a meal, or for lodging! You’ll be glad you did - AND CALL IT HOME!!!

Unfortunately due to random bad luck the room we booked was flooded the day we were to arrive. Carolyn is a true blessing and not only provided us with new accommodations elsewhere, she made sure we wouldn't be charged more, that we still had all the amenities of the Mountaintop Lodge, and most importantly that the new place was wheelchair friendly for me!
