I grew up on Pudge's cheese steaks and thought as a kid that all cheese steaks were the same, because I only ever had Pudge's. Boy was I wrong. I moved out of Penn Square Village when I was about 20. If you asked me what I miss most, it would be Pudge's. I moved to Pottstown about 25 years ago and looked for a good cheese steak shop. There are a few that are eehh, ok. Absolutely outstanding! Went here for dinner tonight with my family. We got 3 different kinds of cheesesteaks (to share) and they were all incredible. In addition, fries, chips, coleslaw, and their sauces we delicious. We will definitely be back.

Came in to pick up some hoagies yesterday. The food was amazing. We got to meet the owner John and his son John also. They were so attentive and friendly, which is what you want. We are from Florida but will definitely be coming back. My dad is a tough critic on hoagies (Pottstown born so he has eaten hoagies his whole life haha) and he was so happy with the sandwich as well as my mom, husband and I. Thank you :)
