Decent Dominican food in a rather spartan setting. I got the impression that I was having lunch in someone's extra long living room. The service was friendly, courteous and patient. The beers could have been colder but the chicken soup tasted like your grandma made it. Slow down as your looking for it or you'll miss it.
I ate at Cristina's Restaurant for the first time last night, and let me say I was very impressed. I ordered their famous Chicken Mofongo, and it was really, really hard to finish it. The portion was enormous! The sauce they brought to pour over the Mofongo was so flavorful, and made it such a great comfort dish. The food is always delicious. The service was excellent. The lovely ladies that work there really want you to enjoy your meal. The music and drinks where incredible and I think I have a crush on the owner, a beautiful Latina lady. Let me tell you she can cook. You should try it out, you won't be disappointed.
