“They taste really good. I can tell their food is made with love. Patacon was delicious and so was the strawberry banana milkshake. They added cinnamon to the milkshake and it tasted really good. Imma head back again when i get the chance to try out their other menu items! Would recommend to anyone in reading!“
“The food is always delicious. The service was excellent. The lovely ladies that work there really want you to enjoy your meal. The music and drinks where incredible and I think I have a crush on the owner, a beautiful Latina lady. Let me tell you she can cook. You should try it out, you won't be disappointed.“
“We stumbled over this corner after a concert and it was opened until 2am! The staff were so very friendly. They took our orders and asked if we needed or wanted any other appetizers or if we wanted to dine. We just ordered these beef, cheese and chicken empanadas with a few sodas. The fritters were crispy and well filled. They all were seasoned well and the chicken was not dry. The restaurant is clean and I saw them wiping everything down. Next time I'm in town I'll definitely try more menu items.“
“I was so excited to see this place pop up here in reading. I love to find my favorite Latin spot, it makes me feel nostalgic for my grandmas cooking as a kid. The food is amazing, the smell already won me over but the taste is unbeatable. The owners and staff are so lovely to chat with. We will definitely be coming back as regulars :)“
“If you are looking for authentic Dominican food, this is the place to come. This is a mom and pop establishment with the mom doing the cooking. They are open until midnight and have a variety of foods that are already in a steam table prepared so you can eat quickly or you can order off the menu. The daughter is Naomi and she was our server and speaks English. I know a few words in Spanish, enough to order my food, but thankfully, Naomi spoke perfect English. It is a small place with a small parking lot. If you are looking for ambience, this is not an elegant restaurant, but more of an authentic feel. While we like elegance, we much prefer this home style experience. The service was quick, it was wonderful, and very helpful. They have juices made on premise. I had guava, and my husband had soursop. That cow foot stew was one of the best I have ever had anywhere. This is a little gem in Reading and in walking distance of the Santander arena and the Doubletree Hotel. This is a perfect spot if you happen to get into town late because most of the restaurants close very early. We arrived a little after 8 PM, and many things were already shut down and shuttered. El Tronco de Lily's to the rescue.“
“1st time there and the only bad thing is the parking which isn’t their fault. The best Tres leches I’ve had in a long time! I got beef stew with the dirty rice and my husband got Ox tail stew with white rice.Parking: Parking is hard unless they have a lot in the back that I didn’t see“
“The ceviche had too much green oil, the ceviche is supposed to taste fresh but from so much oil it tasted bitter, the appetizers for a Caribbean restaurant should not be chips and salsa because that is not Mexican. The girls serve very well.“
“A real Spanish restaurant. Like old country. The staff speak English, but otherwise only Spanish was spoken while I was here. This ain't Taco bell. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They really load up your plate. The salmon, rice and lemon ade is very good.“
“This place is top tier!!!! I’m working my way through the menu. So far I have tried their dumplings (MY FAVORITE), Chimis, mofongo, rice and beans, fried chicken, tostones, and lemonade. The food is just fantastic! I find myself savoring every single bite. They have nice presentation and great customer service. I can definitely see this place expanding in the future.“
