“I'm not from the area, and don't really speak anything Spanish, but I learned to love pupusa in particular. I had pork pupusa, chicken pupusa, and a chicken quesadilla, all of which were really tasty. The curtido is very mild compared to some I've had, not at all spicy, very much on the comfort food spectrum. I really liked all the veggies and avocado that they added to the quesadilla.The staff mostly doesn't speak English and the menu is almost entirely in Spanish, and doesn't have any prices listed. Staff were friendly though,and they did bring someone out who spoke English to help me order. The building was a little cluttered, but everything was clean, limited selection of bottled drinks. I usually drink diet coke, there was none.“
“This was some of the best food I've had in a looong time. The pupusas were delicious & filling & much bigger than I expected. The drinks were phenomenal (the tamarind, maracuya & horchata and yes we did order all 3). This place has a very neighborhood/local vibe. If you don't know Spanish either look at the menu in advance or be adventurous and pick at random. 100% would recommend“
“My wife and I have been here twice now and it seems to keep getting better. I had to write a review to give this place the love it deserves! I would give six stars if I could because the food is so stinking good and at a price that is very competitive. Many times, I have paid more elsewhere for similar food that was not nearly as good. This was the first place we ever had birria tacos and I don’t think we’ve had better yet. Four beef filled tacos, limes, sauces, and consume for dipping. That order just $13. We also had a pork taco that was packed with flavor. Another amazing thing is that everything seems to be made to order and came out tasting incredibly fresh and hot. We ordered a pupusa for my daughter to eat and she loved it. I was kinda jealous. I don’t think you can order something here that isn’t exceptional. My wife and I and two year old couldn’t eat everything so after only $25 total, we had to take food home. Will be back, hopefully many times. One thing: cash or cash app. No card.“
