“Had my order been delivered before it was cold, the review would likely be a star higher. But, when you receive your delivery order over an hour late, food starts to get soggy in the styrofoam containers that the restaurant packs them into. I ordered two entrees. The first selection from the menu, Tacos del Pastor, al pastor tacos, topped with cilantro onions, a side of hot sauce, a lime, and cucumber for each. The tacos shells were homemade, and the al pastor had plenty of flavor. Three tacos come to an order, with two shells supporting each taco, and they’re reasonably priced. The second entree, Fajitas Mix, is served with flour or corn tortillas on the side, with a mixture of chicken, beef and shrimp over a generous portion of rice, with a small portion of bean and a soggy mixture of lettuce, a sad attempt at coleslaw instead of what’s listed on the menu as pico de gallo. The fajitas are cooked the traditional way, with peppers and onions. The ingredients are quality, with authentic Mexican flavors. A side of hot sauce, which you need to specify the heat, as is the case for tacos, is included. The entree is very reasonably priced. If I was ensured an on-time delivery, and the restaurant made an attempt to offset my inexcusably late first delivery, I’d likely order again. The corn tortillas were said to be gluten-free, from a call I made, prior to ordering, which offers an added bonus to include customers with allergies or insensitivity to gluten.Vegetarian options: See MenuDietary restrictions: Gluten-free homemade tortilla shells are offeredKid-friendliness: Many options on menu are child appropriate“

“I was first introduced to this restaurant by a Honduran friend who told me he knew an authentic spot. I've never had Honduran food so I took his word and gave this place a shot. Ever since, I try to visit every now and then since it is a bit out the way from me located in the Northeast. For those that aren't familiar, this place is known for pupusas. A pupusa is a circular flat bread that is stuffed with various meats and cheeses and is served with hot sauce and a pickled cabbage slaw. This dish is native to South American countries such as Honduras and Venezuela. I've had the chicken and cheese, jalapeno and cheese, and the pork and cheese pupusas and all were fantastic. Not sure if there is a correct way to eat pupusas but I put some of the slaw on top of the pupusa along with the hot sauce and folded it like a taco and went at it. Very good. I've also had the pollo a la plancha (grilled chicken platter) which comes with generous portions of grilled chicken, a side salad, black beans, rice and two tortillas. Before it used to be under 10 dollars but they've recently raised their prices and is now around 12 dollars. Even with the price adjustments, I feel like it's a bang for your buck. I always call ahead or order pickup through ubereats so I don't have to order in person and wait. Food is usually on time and the cashier is always friendly.“

“My daughter wanted some empanadas but we didn’t want to travel far today. Therefore, I Googled and this place came up fairly close to us. We got a nice parking spot out in front of the place and went in. It reminded me of a cute old school luncheonette. We could sit anywhere. A nice girl brought us menus and took our drink order. My daughter got an order of empanada and a chicken burrito. I wasn’t sure what to get so I got a plate that had a little of everything consisting of fried plantains, a pupusa, a tamale, chicharrons, a pastilillio, and a sweet potato. It was all amazing but the real standouts were the tamale, the pupusa, and the pastelillo. The chicharron was good but I felt it needed something like a sauce to dip it in…it was a little flat on its own. Great food and great experience! We would definitely come again. Please note they do take credit cards, but do you charge an additional 4% if you use one. That’s pretty standard as of late in any restaurant but I just thought I would mention it.“

“Our server was so kind and patient! We each mixed and matched three pupusas and they were all SO good! The server explained Loroco flower to me and I enjoyed trying something new. I'm so excited to go back and try more flavors and some of their other dishes!“
