The atmosphere is great, with a mix of sunlight and greenery as well as areas that are more removed for a less distracting environment. Would definitely reccomend the food, as well. “Just moved into the neighborhood & decided to take a walk. I saw this tucked inside a little shopping center & now I regret it. Should have stuck with Dunkin Donuts bc after eating an everything bagel w/cream cheese from there, I’m addicted. I almost walked back for another one it was that good AND I don’t want to be addicted to another carb. Lol. I more than likely will get my fix tomorrow. Great customer service & very friendly. “I've tried Top Hat Coffee Lounge by the UPenn campus, but I'm glad I discovered this new location! It's definitely hidden within a plaza and is situated within the walkway as you exit Saks Fifth Avenue. While the space is small, there is still plenty to order in terms of drinks and several pastries as well. The staff greeted us with a very warm welcome and was patient while we decided on our drinks. My friend and I both ordered oat matcha lattes, which were delicious and tasted like high-quality matcha as we were told :) The added perk is that he did not charge us for substituting our milk with oat milk, so thank you for that!“

“A great place. Been open many years. Recently on TV for their Anniversary. Sometimes crowded but they are quick and move fast. You can get breakfast sandwiches all day which is a plus. Coffee very good, another plus. Only takes cash, no big deal to me. Grew up in South Philly and local neighborhood places the same. Got scrapple, egg & cheese, bacon, egg & cheese, peppers , egg & cheese. All outstanding. Owner Bruce and his wife working up front, working, greeting and monitoring everything.“

“Very nice quiet atmosphere. Very peaceful and I loved seeing the daughter and Mom duo. It's was refreshing to see considering I brought my daughter along with me. The Boba my daughter ordered wasn't sweet to her liking, and she was going to add additional sugar, however the owner called my daughter over to fix the drink. “Gong cha is solidly okay boba - nothing to write home about but their tapioca is a good texture of chewy but not to chewy. The teas are too sweet for me at regular sweetness, so I recommend getting 50% sugar (regular is 75%). The service at this location is and a drink will average $7-8 with tax. They share the space with a to-go sushi restaurant and have a few tables inside, so you can grab dinner and a drink and sit and eat.“

“as long as quality coffee exists, cold wet gray days don’t make for the severe downer that they could be. stopped here before walking to Center City. ordered a large Americano—carefully crafted by the barista who took my order. the coffee was smooth and deep in flavor…served super hot which is a necessity on those chilly sun-less days. the service was pleasant. tbh, if i didn’t have a lunch destination, i would’ve ordered one of the signature liege waffle which look good. the cafe / coffee shop has plenty of seating with a warm yet modern feel whether you’re working, studying, or just need a moment of respite from the din of life. look forward to stop here during warmer days!“

They serve traditional café fare here, as well as signature flavored lattes, craft coffee drinks, and many cocktails with a coffee or tea twist. Every week, there's also a new special on the menu. (Again they fixed it. ) -During yet another visit I waited 10 minutes for a latte...not because they forgot or were busy but because the orders in front of me had to be redone because they were wrong. It's a great place and I hope the owner reads this review to improve the training of the employees.“

It’s always well-presented and carefully packaged, which just isn’t the case for all food deliveries. I’ve tried a number of the vegan sides, but I’ve found my groove with the veg platter, and it just makes me so happy! The shiro is amazing—smooth and creamy and so flavorful! I sometimes get it as a side in addition to the platter to have some to enjoy the next day. Definitely worth a visit or placing an order!“
