“We stopped here for dinner to meet my sister on a weekday. It was busy and popular. The views were very nice and relaxing. Attentive waitress. Delicious food. 2 of us got the waterfront burger - sooooooo good!!!! And one of us got the fish and chips, also tasty. The beers were pretty good. We had a very good time here for dinner.“

“I've always come here as a bar to watch the games, has an outdoor area too. A friend was actually the one who brought me here to eat dinner and now I come all the time for dinner, not just to watch a game. Definitely not traditional bar food, WAY better. Pretty lengthy menu too - lots of options. Specials are always excellent and seasonal AYCE crab legs is a personal favorite!“

The staff has ALWAYS been super nice, I've never had anything bad to say about any of their food, and they've always been on time when I order from them for pickup. Everyone who's leaving one star reviews for silly things such as gloves, masks, etc needs to calm down. This is a small business in delco that's been around for a while. It's evident that the people who are crying over the small stuff, and are willing to drag this business down over something meaningless have never worked a hard day in their lives. Once again, this is delco. If you want to wait 2 hours to get fancy food by people who change gloves every time they come in contact with a new ingredient to prevent cross contamination, go somewhere else and cry about them. If you want good food, good service, and good timing, get your food here.“

“Opted for a spontaneous visit to Bar Jawn with a friend and his client, seeking a quick lunch fix with a must-have cheesesteak recommendation near Ardmore.Amidst the rain and our lack of reservation, the staff kindly accommodated us, offering seats at their communal table. While their service was warm and accommodating, the cheesesteaks were unfortunately heavily seasoned, even for someone who enjoys a salty kick. We ended up taking half of our meals home, realizing later that we should have spoken up about the seasoning issue.Despite this experience, I'm willing to give Bar Jawn another chance in the future. Just a friendly heads-up for others: don't hesitate to speak up if your meal isn't quite right.“

“I recently worked as a photographer at this bar/restaurant space that was being used for a wedding. There is a small space in the back thats great for pictures and small parties. They also have a bar upstairs and ample parking across the street. The appetizers were delicious and creative. Its a nice venue to hold a small event or to have drinks/dinner.“

“A great place. Been open many years. Recently on TV for their Anniversary. Sometimes crowded but they are quick and move fast. You can get breakfast sandwiches all day which is a plus. Coffee very good, another plus. Only takes cash, no big deal to me. Grew up in South Philly and local neighborhood places the same. Got scrapple, egg & cheese, bacon, egg & cheese, peppers , egg & cheese. All outstanding. Owner Bruce and his wife working up front, working, greeting and monitoring everything.“
