I used to go to Coney Island frequently until I moved out of state. I brought my family there to eat a while back, and we were not disappointed. The Texas wieners were as good as ever! Their sauce is the greatest thing ever cooked on a stove. I have lived in Texas for the past 25 years, and I haven't found a restaurant that even comes close to Coney Island wieners. They are a Scranton institution that you must visit! Go! Right now!!

Anytime I am near Scranton, PA., I absolutely must have the Texas wieners at Coney Island. It's a great local tradition as well as their full menu. I'm from West and South Scranton as a child.I visited this past week and made sure to stop for a 3-Texas wiener, fries, and iced tea lunch. I was certainly not disappointed. The service is quick, friendly, polite, and just awesome.Parking is an issue; however, there are ways to park nearby.Just an awesome place to have lunch in Scranton, PA. whatever you order!

I've been eating here since I was a child. I'm now 63 yrs old and still they have the same great tasting recipe they had 50 years ago. The only thing thar has changed is the prices increased, but hey thats to be expected overL the years! The prices are still lower than McDonald's and Burger King as far as I'm concerned. And the food is way better!Kid-friendliness: There's not much for parking but if you can get around that it's surely worth it.

I get take-out from here frequently. The Texas cheeseburgers are my favorite. I eat them enough, that other people notice. It's a little gem to have in my neighborhood.
I am sitting in this place right now and I am both in heaven and bummed that I have never been here before! The food is so good! My mom told me that they have the best fries and she wasn't kidding! My first bite made me close my eyes and transported me to a boardwalk in the past for a few moments.The staff are so friendly and the atmosphere is perfect. I love the drawings of local celebrities(I think) on the walls, as well as older pictures of Scranton. Definitely check out this place!
