Great atmosphere. It's a real community type bar, but visitors aren't made to feel unwelcome. The signature corn chowder is amazing. Pub food never disappoints. Highly recommended.
My family was staying in Shillington while passing through to a reunion of my 93 year old wheelchair bound mother with her 89 year old brother who lives in rural Virginia. I had chosen Flanagan's pub to have dinner and called while we're on the road to confirm that we would be able to get into the restaurant and that they had a handicapped accessible bathroom. The food was delicious. We went before St Patrick's Day and the Reubens filled me up and was well made. My only two constructive criticism would be put up better signage so new customers know where they should enter and make sure to create contact with customers as soon as they walk through the door so they aren't left feeling out of place and uncertain. Once the waitress was assigned, and we got past that initial hurdle, everything was awesome, and we will be returning soon.
