I don’t normally complain, in fact I pride myself on being understanding and patient but man was I disappointed in this visit. I’m sure most of the guys there this afternoon were new and for that I can offer grace but I don’t think I can come back to this location outside of the early morning when the girls are there. I came in for brunch with my mother, she ordered a tuna sandwich, I ordered 2 whole pizza bagels(4 halves; usually seasoned with garlic, oregano and basil. I’ve been going here for years so I could make it in my sleep at this point because they’re my favorite), 5 bagels to go and a water. We intended to eat there but everything was packed to go. Ok no big deal. We checked everything and my mom’s tuna was in a small condiment container instead of what she ordered it in and what I was charged for, we were given a very small amount of regular mustard, my pizza bagels were for lack of better words lack luster and I was unfortunately over charged. We came home, did the math and added everything up including tax which landed me at around 35$ I was charged 42$. This has been a favorite spot of mine for years so I was really disheartened this time because I’ve never seen my meal made with anything but love and always looked amazing. Maybe today was just an off today.

Sweet staff, a lot of bagel, cream cheese, drinks, and food options. There's almost always a line but that just means it's worth the little wait. An overall great mom and pops bagel shop! I make an effort to stop here when I come home to visit!

Approximately 8 teenagers running this place on a Sunday. Each customer takes about 10 minutes to complete a transaction. Line out the door, no manager in sight. Super slow.

I've been going there for years. Went to pickup a few sandwiches for a late lunch about an hour before closing. Ordered a four sandwiches and the girl rounded her eyes and started to complain to the other children working there about how long it was going to take to make them. Everything seemed to be an incovenience , we were the only one there. The employees clearly did not want to make the order. when I paid for the order the child had the nerve to push the tip jar towards me. tough to find good help these days.

it's just not like it used to be. bagels are small with sometimes no holes and look like baseballs instead of bagels. i grew up in an area out of pa where bagels are a valued tradition so I know good bagels. I have lived here now for over 20 years and thought this place was such a god send to have decent bagels in Berks county. but now it's just not the same. it's a 50/50 crap shoot if what you order and pay for is actually what is wrapped up and inside the bag especially with the bagel lunch specials. I have actually had drive back from my house and ask them to actually make what i paid for out of principle after so many times with it being wrong and I just accepted it. at the point where I rarely go there anymore and it's a shame because it was amazing. I know people still go there but it's because in my opinion there really aren't any other options for bagels in Berks county but at this point I just won't go there anymore.

I have the same complaints as others do. The staff is not friendly at all nor will they acknowledge that you exist even when there are plenty of workers there. Walked in today at 1:45 to get a grilled sandwich, but the grill was shut off already. The sign says they are open till 3. This is not the first time this has happened. I doubt we will be going back.
