I was impressed by the communications while coordinating regarding clarity and promptness. The set up was above what was promised and the outdoor bar right next to our semi-private event was clutch. Many of our classmates commented on what a great venue it was and for the COVID conscious it allowed for a fun, social, and safe atmosphere. Thank you J.L Farm and Cidery!”

“I have always enjoyed Brothers Pizza but unfortunately some of them have gone to cheap. The one that I am reviewing is still doing good. The wife and I just ate there she got a Chicken salad I had a hot Italian sub and other than the the sub could of been a bit hotter I had no complaints. 2 sodas a salad and a 11 sub came to $36 and though i feel like it should be a bit cheaper they don't rip you off. The Brothers down in Milesburg is, i ordered the same hot Italian from that location and I felt like I was eating a lettuce sandwich there was barley any lunch meat needless to say we don't order from that location anymore which sucks because it's basically across the street from our house. So yes I wish it was cheaper but at least you are getting something for your money. I will continue to visit the location on Benner Pike as long as it keeps being quality and quantity. They still give you the homemade bread which is one thing that makes or breaks a place like this which for a hoagie is very important but even for making the salad more enjoyable.”

“The most incredible venue for a wedding. We recently had the pleasure of having our wedding (rehearsal, ceremony & reception) at the Graduate Hotel. The atmosphere, staff and venue were absolutely perfect. Both Jessica and Mark went above and beyond to ensure our wedding went off without a hitch. And the food was to die for! Every step of the wedding planning process, Jessica worked with us to make sure our wedding day so special and everything we hoped it to be. On the day of, Mark went above and beyond to carry out our vision and make it perfect. Their hospitality was more than anyone could have asked for and we will forever recommend this venue to all.”

They're also open super late.

My only complaint is EVERY time I want them it's on the day they're scheduled to be closed! I have to wait a whole day for the pizza then!

“Three weeks ago my wife and I ordered the Saturday Prime Rib. The food was excellent and the price was exceptionally reasonable. A week later we tried the Prime Rib buffet at the Penn Stater Gardens. First the price was double that of Celebrities and the Prime Rib was only half as good. This past Friday we returned to Celebrities. My wife felt like having something different and the menu did not disappoint. If your looking for great food at a reasonable price you'll find it at Celebrities. We go out to eat once a week and this is the best we have found in the State College area.”

“I ordered online and the service was quick. My portion was huge and the order was made correctly. The bowl was so big it took me 5 hours to eat it. I paid $11 for two proteins and they stuffed the bowl to the rim. I got spicy salmon, but it didn’t taste or look any different from normal salmon? I also got a mango green tea, it tasted pretty average. But the seafood and the toppings tasted fresh, I recommend a build your own bowl and adding pineapple especially.

UPDATE: I placed another order for bowl and brown sugar boba. The bowl fine and tasty, but the boba was terrible. The boba tasted like it was sitting for a couple hours, very hard and not chewy at all. The milk also tasted bit sour for some reason. Cannot reccomend getting any of their boba drinks. Ended up throwing it away.”

“The manager Jasmine Corey went above and beyond to help us in addressing an issue with our order. She was so kind and willing to help! Our 1/2 ham tasted a bit off, as it was far too salty, even a few layers deeper. I felt bad having to bring it back in for an exchange, but Jasmine alleviated my embarrassment. She even surprised me by taking different hams to the back to cut off pieces for me to try. That ensured we got a good ham, and sure enough this ham tasted so much better! The replacement ham we got this year brought back all of our fond memories of Honey Baked Ham. I really appreciate that our local store is run by Jasmine. She is the hero who saved our Thanksgiving feast. 😊”

“This is a great place if you are a freshman, especially living in East and looking to meet more people. However, there are better commons like West, South, or Pollock. Also, it could feel a bit overwhelming when from a different residence area and really weird once you aren’t a freshman. It is still a good overall commons though!”

They also have other dishes that doesn't seem too authentic, which I haven't (wouldn't) try. I have recommended this place to my friends but always told them to get actual Chinese food, not like ramen. The owner is also very friendly. I don't speak any Chinese but I could see he cares about his customers. He remembers his recurring customers and makes sure they are satisfied with their service. Overall, this is a great place if you know what to get, or have a friend who can explain you about the menu.”

“Staff was exceptional! Served 20 people in the short 10 minutes we were there, and continued to be pleasant. The only downside is that Starbucks does not have a card tipping option at this location. Shame on Starbucks, these people deserved it.”

“I love Green Bowl! I always get the buffet and make small bowls so I can mix and match and try new combinations. I always go hungry and I certainly get my money's worth. I've taken friends, coworkers and family and I've never had a bad experience. You can also watch your food sizzle on the giant wok if that is something you'd like to do. While I don't have any allergies, they are always pro-active in asking and separating out the meals who do have allergies or dietary restrictions.”

“Food was great! My 1st time here. I will recommend for the food. Unfortunately the waitress ruined it for us. She didn't check on us. Didnt see her much on the floor verses other waitresses. Had to ask another waitress for refill on our drinks. When our waitress came back with drinks she gave us a excuse that she getting drinks for another table on the other side of the room. Was rude about telling us. Didn't ask us how the food was or if we wanted desert. Just gave us our check and took our money that was it. Hoping the nextvtime it will be more pleasant.”

“Not usually a commenter, but this place was wicked good! We got takeout -- it was wonderfully prepared, on time, and a fair price. Definitely this will be my go-to for Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Man, extra spicy). I'm looking forward to trying the hot pot before long.

“I visited this restaurant after traveling from Michigan. I took a seat at the bar and I was greeted by the bartended immediately. She was very friendly and had a nice personality. Definitely a good choice for a bartender! The restaurant was nice and clean. I ordered a beer and a steak. Overall the meal was very good. Steak was cooked just right, fries were tasty and the broccoli was good too.
However, while the steak was very good, it had a tendon running through it that I couldn’t even cut with a steak knife. I just had to eat around it. Kind of a bummer.”

“Champs is a great spot to go to if you are looking to watch live sports. They have plenty of TV's. It does get extremely busy when there are big games in town. We were in State College for the PSU vs Ohio football game.

The line to get your name on the waiting list can be overwhelming and a bit chaotic. If you work your way up to the host (a bit crudgemoney), your name will be added to the list. But if you aren't there and they call your name, they move on to the next person right away. There is not a text when your table is ready or the vibrating discs etc.

Getting drinks at the bar was a challenge given the amount of people vs staff. At our table, the waitress was great. Drinks and food came out on a reasonable amount of time.

The food itself was good, not great (for our party). They do have a pretty extensive menu, so there are lots of options. The pizza (thicker crust, thin in the middle), looked tasty and will try next time.”

And...when mobile app equipment was down and they had no way of telling people ordering...drinks were put first upon your arrival and free for the inconvenience. Keep up the good work - being across the street from 46K students and 20K employees makes this a very busy Starbucks!”

“I was having a very stressful day as I am graduating in 2 weeks and my thesis got rejected so I don’t have much time to revise it. I went to the Burger King to get some lunch and the employees there were very lovely and even offered me a crown to celebrate my graduation. They made my day with their positivity!”

“Waited in the car while my son went in to pick up, but the guy on the phone took my order competently and cheerfully, and the food - as always - was quite good. One tip: if you get the tamales, eat them ASAP, they do NOT get better sitting around!
