“We came for dinner with a group of 16 while in town for a swim meet. Some restaurants struggle with large groups but not this place! Our waitress was absolutely fantastic at making sure everyone had what they needed. The atmosphere was perfect for a group. The main takeaway from the entire group was that the FOOD WAS INCREDIBLE! Two of the chefs, Alec and Quinn, came out to the table to make sure everything was ok and even answered questions about some of the dishes. The adults were loving the crafted cocktails and the kids loved the desserts! If you’re looking for a farm to table style restaurant that provides great service and pays attention to all the details-this is it!”

“I absolutely love a good basement bar. The University Wine Company is the exact opposite of a basement bar. And is to be loved as well. Enjoy jaw-dropping views from the terrace listening to the soaring sounds of Honeypie featuring Molly Countermine,. Between the wine and the view and the music, you'll be on your feet with your hands in the air, spirit lifted to the heavens.”

We ordered hibachi, but the food wasn't anything different than regular fried rice. Went there on July 4th, so I am glad that they were still open. Clean area and fast service.”

“I love Crumbl, always go to the state College store, never any issues, great kids, BUT good golly, teach them how to acknowledge, greet and speak. Sheesh. These kids were mute, didn’t even speak to each other. So awkward. The one kid, stood there, dipping something and looking out of the corner of his eye, like nobody’s even making any eye contact, not even turning their head. The kid who handed me the cookies, pleasantly spoke, was very nice. But they def could benefit from “people skills 101””

“OMG the food is incredible! I had the arepa pabellón with chicken stew and it's hands down one of the best things I've ever eaten. I've only had arepas in Colombia and have never tried Venezuelan arepas; so glad I was able to try them here. The service was super quick and friendly too. I can't wait to come back 🥰”

Every step of the wedding planning process, Jessica worked with us to make sure our wedding day so special and everything we hoped it to be. On the day of, Mark went above and beyond to carry out our vision and make it perfect. Their hospitality was more than anyone could have asked for and we will forever recommend this venue to all.”

“I would still recommend them. However, my sister and I ordered pizzas today. I LOVE truffle oil. I ordered a Kennett Square pizza and they forgot my truffle oil…..made my pizza less than appealing. It did not taste good without the truffle oil!!!! Hopefully if I return they will remember the BEST part of my pizza……truffle oil!!!!!”

They're also open super late.

My only complaint is EVERY time I want them it's on the day they're scheduled to be closed! I have to wait a whole day for the pizza then!

“The manager Jasmine Corey went above and beyond to help us in addressing an issue with our order. She was so kind and willing to help! Our 1/2 ham tasted a bit off, as it was far too salty, even a few layers deeper. I felt bad having to bring it back in for an exchange, but Jasmine alleviated my embarrassment. She even surprised me by taking different hams to the back to cut off pieces for me to try. That ensured we got a good ham, and sure enough this ham tasted so much better! The replacement ham we got this year brought back all of our fond memories of Honey Baked Ham. I really appreciate that our local store is run by Jasmine. She is the hero who saved our Thanksgiving feast. 😊”

I had a number of questions that were happily answered by staff. All in all, great experience and will definitely return again.”

A week later we tried the Prime Rib buffet at the Penn Stater Gardens. First the price was double that of Celebrities and the Prime Rib was only half as good. This past Friday we returned to Celebrities. My wife felt like having something different and the menu did not disappoint. If your looking for great food at a reasonable price you'll find it at Celebrities. We go out to eat once a week and this is the best we have found in the State College area.”

Then, I was having a birthday party for my son and the people at The Cove were nice enough to make the pizzas for us even though they weren't open by the time the party started. “My favorite food here is 'Sausage and spaghetti, with two spoons of red source, and pepper and onion'. The inflation is so bad in the past few years but the price is still very cheap. As a fast food chain, you cannot expect anything more than that.”

“I ordered online and the service was quick. My portion was huge and the order was made correctly. The bowl was so big it took me 5 hours to eat it. I paid $11 for two proteins and they stuffed the bowl to the rim. I got spicy salmon, but it didn’t taste or look any different from normal salmon? I also got a mango green tea, it tasted pretty average. But the seafood and the toppings tasted fresh, I recommend a build your own bowl and adding pineapple especially.

UPDATE: I placed another order for bowl and brown sugar boba. The bowl fine and tasty, but the boba was terrible. The boba tasted like it was sitting for a couple hours, very hard and not chewy at all. The milk also tasted bit sour for some reason. Cannot reccomend getting any of their boba drinks. Ended up throwing it away.”

“Good ice cream and friendly staff. I want to particularly commend the honesty of one of the employees. I didn't get his name but he was working the evening of 12 July. I inadvertantly entered the cost of the ice cream in the tip window on the card reader. He immediately noticed my mistake and refunded me that amount and then ran the charge again. This might seem like a small thing, but I know for a fact it wouldn't happen at other shops. Bravo to him.”

“I love Green Bowl! I always get the buffet and make small bowls so I can mix and match and try new combinations. I always go hungry and I certainly get my money's worth. I've taken friends, coworkers and family and I've never had a bad experience. You can also watch your food sizzle on the giant wok if that is something you'd like to do. While I don't have any allergies, they are always pro-active in asking and separating out the meals who do have allergies or dietary restrictions.”
