It was what I expected, a typical college bar. Kids were all drinking “fish bowls”. Loud and crowded. Their website said they had food on Saturday, no they do not. I had ordered a cosmo, i was one and done.
It is cheap during HH, I will give it that. It also generally feels classier than many State College bars. A bit after 10 last night, a friend tried to join us; we already had a booth inside. There was a massive line of about 30 people to get in. Despite the bar being relatively not crowded, the bouncers told me they were "trying to control the flow". Last year this was my favorite bar and I was very disappointed when they weren't open for the beginning of this semester. Since they opened two weeks ago I had great service and enjoyed my time. Last night the owners son was overly rude to me and my friends felt violated by his aggression towards us. It was very disrespectful and without him we would have gotten more drinks and would have enjoyed our experience more. Andrew sucks.
