Consistently good. Prices are getting a bit steep, though.

I have eaten here many times and the salads are delicious. My favorite is the Backyard BBQ, which comes with breaded chicken, cheese, corn, and bacon bits. If that’s not your thing the menu is pretty flexible. It is easy to make substitutions when you want to and the wait is fairly short. They also tend to have a great dessert available if you want it, with the s’mores bars being a personal favorite. There isn’t a lot of space to eat there, so I assume most people just take it with them. I did enjoy meeting a friend here but if we had third person with us they’d either have to stand or we’d have to go somewhere else.It would be great if they could come up with a way to reuse bowls, especially for people eating in. The single use plastic bowls seem a little wasteful.Overall a great salad with a convenient location and rapid turnaround. I’ll be back :).

Walking around State College looking for an alternative to burgers and brews, we stopped at this salad shop. Not a big shop, but has decent indoor seating (plus seating outside), with a modern but not uninviting interior. You have a choice of salad mixes or create your own, bottled drinks, and so far this is pretty typical of a place like this. What impressed me was how efficient the salad production was and how friendly the help was considering they were busy. My Backyard BBQ chicken salad had plenty of chicken and cheese and other items with a just right dressing. This was not only a good value for the sizes of the salad, but it was really good and overall very satisfying. They say good things in small packages, so I strongly recommend you give them a try while you are in town.

I love this place. Very fresh and so many options, even for me as a vegan. I always go out of my way to stop by if I am in the area.

Went here all the time as a student for a healthier option and I have to say it became my go-to spot for something refreshing and tasteful. Always felt great to eat post-gym and I recommend to anyone who wants a salad that gives you the healthy option you want and also leaves you feeling more than satisfied. Was just back visiting and stopped in to grab my favorite and the quality is still top notch. Absolutely recommend this local gem.

My family has eaten here on a regular basis, both takeout and dine in. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. Food is always consistent and ingredients are fresh. Prices are high but portions are huge so you definitely are getting great food at a reasonable price.

This place is awful. Save your money and don't bother coming here. The salads are way overpriced, it smells disgusting inside, and their chicken isn't even good. I promise you you're much better off going to Hello Bistro or Roots.

The staff are very friendly and the salads taste very healthy. Very expensive though but worth it.

Salads are fantastic, good portion for your money. Chicken Caesar salad is my go to. Friendly staff with room to sit. Wish it was open more!

For some reason, the staff refuse to make new rice after 5pm. Every time I’m here after 5, they’re out of rice and the rice cooker is cleaned and taken down for the night. It’s dinner, people don’t want salad for dinner, they want a hearty rice bowl. This has happened more than 6 times in the past two months.

I like that you can make your own salad and the staffs are friendly. Sadly, I didn't like the final salad both the times I was there. I had Bob Cobb and the dressing ( I think it was the dressing) tasted like coconut oil. I couldn't eat it.

Fiddlehead is just what I want from a salad place. Tons of options so you can customize your order just how you like it. The salads are huge and I appreciate them offering a vegan/vegetarian protein in the grilled tofu.
