Walking around State College looking for an alternative to burgers and brews, we stopped at this salad shop. Not a big shop, but has decent indoor seating (plus seating outside), with a modern but not uninviting interior. You have a choice of salad mixes or create your own, bottled drinks, and so far this is pretty typical of a place like this. Went here all the time as a student for a healthier option and I have to say it became my go-to spot for something refreshing and tasteful. Always felt great to eat post-gym and I recommend to anyone who wants a salad that gives you the healthy option you want and also leaves you feeling more than satisfied. Was just back visiting and stopped in to grab my favorite and the quality is still top notch. Absolutely recommend this local gem.

I have eaten here many times and the salads are delicious. My favorite is the Backyard BBQ, which comes with breaded chicken, cheese, corn, and bacon bits. If that’s not your thing the menu is pretty flexible. It is easy to make substitutions when you want to and the wait is fairly short.
