Took a friend here for a surprise birthday party. We made a reservation(for 13 people) and when we got there the staff was more than ready for us. We had a low top next to the pizza station and the kids enjoyed (and me) watching them flip the dough. Our server was awesome and we had absolutely no mix ups and didn’t wait long for our food given the amount of people we had. The food was quite good. I think they did a great job with the remodel. First time trying Marzonis in State College - Celebrated a birthday dinner tonight.The pizza was very good. Stromboli was good, but it was very small considering the price.Drinks where great and our waitress, Mary was excellent! She was kind and helpful and gave us exceptional attention.All in all it was very enjoyable and we will dine there again.
This place is super cool, love the atmosphere. Food is decent. Beer is excellent. Service...not so much. Staff members--lots of them--standing around but no one attending to the guests. A great deal of time goes by before anyone checks on you. This was not a one-time experience either, rather a four-time experience.
