Took a friend here for a surprise birthday party. We made a reservation(for 13 people) and when we got there the staff was more than ready for us. We had a low top next to the pizza station and the kids enjoyed (and me) watching them flip the dough. Our server was awesome and we had absolutely no mix ups and didn’t wait long for our food given the amount of people we had. The food was quite good. I think they did a great job with the remodel. It felt more modern and open. We were not rushed to leave even though they were busy. They let us sit at the table undisturbed while we finished our drinks and even sang to our friend!

I want to give 4.5 stars but Google doesn’t have that option. The pizza here is one of the too 2-3 pizza places in the region.

First time trying Marzonis in State College - Celebrated a birthday dinner tonight. The pizza was very good. Stromboli was good, but it was very small considering the price.Drinks where great and our waitress, Mary was excellent! She was kind and helpful and gave us exceptional attention. All in all it was very enjoyable and we will dine there again.

This place is super cool, love the atmosphere. Food is decent. Beer is excellent. Service...not so much. Staff members--lots of them--standing around but no one attending to the guests. A great deal of time goes by before anyone checks on you. This was not a one-time experience either, rather a four-time experience. A couple of visits we were seated RIGHT BESIDE another table of people when the place was empty. Whyyy did they seat us right on top of each other?! Anyway, if you're not in a rush, want left alone to read (and re-read) the menu then you will love this place. We love the Patchwork Pale ale and the stout

Marzonis newest location has really brought back to life the former TGIFridays. Service was friendly, beverage refills came quickly, and there are many TVs to keep up on sports. A little loud for a lot of conversation but perfect for lunch and watching sports. The pizzas are very good and a 10" is perfect if you're hungry. I love the crab Rangoon. My son prefers plain cheese. The Stromboli is good but a meager portion compared to the pizza. Adult grilled cheese, fish tacos, and soft pretzel are also yummy choices.

We decided to come back here because we were staying at a hotel very close by. We had a better experience than our first time and were happy that we gave it another try. I ordered a lemon drop martini and my husband ordered a wine flight. My drink was good and my husband was happy with 2 out of the three wines. We also ordered appetizers and all 3 were good. The pretzels were nicely salted but the dipping cheese was served cold. It was a generous portion of chicken tenders at $10 and we asked for a side of their homemade buffalo sauce and blue cheese. I liked the sauce but my husband is a loyal Franks red sauce guy. The crab dip was served hot and tasty and the ratio of chips to dip was equal. We sat at the bar and had very good service so we upped our rating to a 3*. Just goes to show that sometimes you have to give things a second chance.

Food is ok. Service great. Ambiance horrible. Like a TGIF inside. I went once and won't be back.

Last night's dinnerOn 01/24/2024. The Pub side of the restaurant is very cold All the patrons had there jackets over their shoulders. Service was less than mediocre. I asked for a beer before my meal and it took 10 minutes.just to get it . When I asked for a second beer as our meals were served i waited 10 minutes and no beer So I went to the bar to ask for my second beer . The waitress came out and said she had taken care of ordering it so I sat back down and finished meal without the beer . After finishing the meal and waiting an additional 10 minutes I went up to the Bar and asked the Bar tender for the beer maybe figuring that the waitress had forgotten or got busy. The bartender had asked me if I had given my beer order to my waitress and I had told her Yes I had. She rudely scolded me in front of the entire bar and said she had so mamy drinks to make and I had to just wait for my beer. I was very embarrassed. Here I was trying to be nice and helpful and I got yelled at.The meal seemed to be processed food and not made fresh.I give this place 11 months. Before they closes the way there going.Thoroughly disappointed.Jon Oberle

Mandy at Manzoni's in State College is a gem behind the bar. Her friendly demeanor and impeccable service add a special touch to the overall experience. If you're looking for a delightful evening with top-notch drinks and genuine hospitality, Mandy at Manzoni's is the perfect choice. Cheers to an outstanding bartender and be sure to tip her well! Oh, and the pizza and cheese bites were hot fresh and awesome!

My experience is limited to take out, but the food is usually not particularly warm even when picking up as soon as the food is ready and making a short drive home. Was mildly annoyed that I ordered a particular type of pizza and when I arrived they told me they didn't have the supplies to make it. I had to wait around for another 10 mins until they prepped a new, alternate pizza. I would have preferred to be notified as soon as they became aware of the missing ingredients so that the replacement pie could have been ready by the time I arrived. I was not offered anything for the inconvenience.
