This review based on my last use of this place in 1973 during my last year at PSU. I was living at Beaver Terrace just a couple of blocks away down E Beaver Ave, close enough to stagger/stumble/crawl home after capping off a night of barhopping in State College with egg rolls at The Brewery. They remain the best egg rolls in memory...although admittedly, I was probably nearly blacked out when eating them. I do remember copious amounts of whatever they were deep-fried in. This is the place I met my now husband! And regardless of that, I cannot speak higher of this bar. This place brought so many different members of my family together. Whether it was cousins, aunts, dads, moms, brothers, this list goes on and on. This place has my heart and soul ❤️❤️

An amazing little dive bar in the happiest of Valleys. I have so many wonderful memories here from college. What the borough council is trying to do is incomprehensible to such an institution. I hope the brewery fights this.
