This review based on my last use of this place in 1973 during my last year at PSU. I was living at Beaver Terrace just a couple of blocks away down E Beaver Ave, close enough to stagger/stumble/crawl home after capping off a night of barhopping in State College with egg rolls at The Brewery. They remain the best egg rolls in memory...although admittedly, I was probably nearly blacked out when eating them. I do remember copious amounts of whatever they were deep-fried in. Sold out of a little window in the middle of the bar, probably unsanitary as hell but wtfc at that age and in that state. Egg rolls and a few mugs of draft beer at 1am...who could want for anything more? Bottom line, under the foregoing circumstances, The Brewery was perfect!

An amazing little dive bar in the happiest of Valleys. I have so many wonderful memories here from college. What the borough council is trying to do is incomprehensible to such an institution. I hope the brewery fights this.

Horrible . Don't play here, don't drink here . They took out the bands instruments at the end of they're last set and didn't let them break down. They started putting it out on the curb . 10,000 worth of equipment. They were not going to allow the band members back in for they're equipment. One of the owners quoted that they could get a pretty penny for one of the Instruments. Very disrespectful, and shady folk.

the most horrible bartender and experience i’ve ever encountered in my life with the female bartender amanda there. she was targeting me and being extremely disrespectful to me from the minute i got there from the moment i got there. i was with my friend asking to close out my tab and she screamed at me for interrupting her conversation, asked me if i had no patience after simply waiting for a lime for my drink, and looked me up and down and said “you know there is no vaping in here” extremely condescendingly while i do not even vape. Do not go here. simply the fact that i wanted to close my tab and she would not give me back my card should say enough for this horrible establishment. do not go here unless they fire this girl.--
