“Updated review since coming for dinner on a Sunday night when our other plans fell through, and neither of us wanted to cook. We had a GREAT time sitting at a high top by the bar. I enjoyed my cocktail. The kale salad was delicious and so large we got four servings out of it (one each for dinner, and again with our leftovers). Look at hubby mugging over this enormous tower of food that is the Dante's Beak "handheld" with a Nashville hot chicken thigh. (It is very hot--they're not lying.) And then there were the pumpkin gnudi: so soft, so creamy, so pillowy. Alas, they didn't travel or heat up well, but in the moment, they were heavenly. Prices were fair for service, food, drink, and ambience. Men's room is at the back, women's room is on the righthand side of the dining room. We'll definitely return when we're in Regent Square again.“

Menus are tablets which can dial in allergies or certain profiles you’re looking for with food, wine, liquors & cigars. You can tell a lot of thought went into the little details. But other parts of the chop were a little dry and salty. The risotto was creamy as I expected. The tartar was lean and flavorful. I think the only dish I thought was lacking was the dessert - sponge cake. Definitely wasn’t my cup of tea.The service was amazing and the fact that you get to see the professional chefs move to make these amazing dishes- I love it.“

What sets this place apart is the farm to table ingredients and truly special preparations; which creates dishes that are so dynamic and interesting. This includes three 9 hole courses that you can play as many times as you choose. We also took advantage of the food and drinks. Drinks are allowed on the course and each hole has a stand for you to rest your drinks while you putt. For dinner I had the appetizer, potato flautas, and my husband had the BBQ bacon burger. Each were delightful. The decor on the courses and throughout the building was so much fun. I really enjoyed the different seating selections for dining as well. Linda was the host for the Garage course the day we were there. She was super sweet and seemed to love her job so much! Very nice decor and ambiance. A charge to be seated at a table near the stage, which is perfect for date night or something more cozy. It was the St Patrick's Day parade that day so perhaps was busier than normal. We started with the shrimp and salad, both were good but not amazing. I had the smash burger and my partner had the streak - the mains were great. We ended with the tiramisu cheesecake, not what I was expecting (it was in a small ramekin) and more of a mousse than a cheesecake, but it was a nice light sweet to end our meal. “This is a fantastic restaurant serving creative pizzas, salads, appetizers and an assortment of entrees ranging from brisket Mac and cheese (my favorite) to salmon, steak and sometimes duck. A very nice feature is that every salad can be bought as a half portion. They do not take reservations, so it's walk in only, but we had no wait getting a party of 7 in around 5 pm. They do get busy by 6. The carnivore, Mediterranean and Forest pizzas are great. The Calabrian could have used more Calabrian chilis. Anything with the house smoked pork belly (bacon candy, BLT salad, carnivore, pesto) is worth getting. My favorite, though is the brisket Mac and cheese. As I wrote in my blog on the best restaurant mac and cheese dishes across the country, "This comes in a hearty ceramic bowl featuring fresh cavatappi spirals in a white cheddar sauce, punctuated by wood-smoked beef brisket, caramelized onions, and a perfectly balanced deep red, tart-sweet barbecue sauce."Service is fabulous. Our waiter did separate checks for our table, and made up a version of southern sweet iced tea using simple syrup for my husband. “My mom, my son and I came to Merchant on Friday (2/16) night. Merchant Oyster is pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty...pretty good.We sat upstairs and our waiter was great! Really friendly and welcoming. He had a lot of patience chatting with my son and that means a lot because my son is very talkative. ?The vibe at Merchant is great. It's eclectic and warm and welcoming. The food was awesome. The warm lobster roll with butter was heavenly. And the crab cake sandwich was so fresh and flavorful. The plain mac and cheese was good. It's definitely a nice option for kids. I recommend trying the potato salad. It was crisp and refreshing making it a nice accompaniment to the seafood. We'll definitely be back.“

“Read the mini bio/mission statement of young Luke Wholey at the front of the restaurant; so charming and somehow makes you feel personally connected. The food we ordered was cooked very well with great freshness, flavor and seasoning. The fish and oysters were excellent. We had the unexpected opportunity to meet and speak with R. Wholey who was very generous with his time in answering questions about the history of the family business. What a treat!Personally observed LW with a broom in hand and doing a quick clean of the stairs then also acting as greeter and host as guests came in. It was our first visit, hopefully not the last, and I hope the restaurant continues to have success and longevity much like the related Wholey's fish market and grocery store down the block.“

“This was our first time visiting Blue Sky, but we don't plan for it to be our last! Between us, we had the k-town ribs appetizer, the soup of the day, which was beef chili with cheddar, and chimichurri steak tacos. The fresh, innovative food was very good and served promptly. The service was outstanding. Our server was friendly, super knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely interested in seeing that our needs were met. We also had the unexpected pleasure of hearing a soloist named Katie Simone perform while we are. Great voice and pleasant commentary. All in all, it was a great date.“

“There’s only a few places that blend good vibes, great food and an ambiance that one could liken to white table cloth restaurant like service in your own home; a perfect blend of a comfortable , relaxed and sophisticated environment. The food was phenomenal and the staff went above and beyond. This is a place where you could go for an anniversary dinner or on a weekday after work to unwind. Emerson’s was a wholesome experience and one that will truly leave you inspired.“

“Alla Famiglia is a hidden gem!! The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who were knowledgeable about the menu and eager to make recommendations. Our server Audra guided us through the menu, and we decided to start with the Fried Provolone, smoked to perfection. For our main course, I ordered the gorgonzola filet mignon which was cooked to perfection. The gorgonzola sauce added a rich and creamy flavor that was simply divine. We had options for pasta: vodka sauce or the cacio e Pepe. We opted into the cacio e pepe this time around, highly recommend! They make it right in front of you in a giant parmesan wheel. Overall, our experience at Alla Famiglia was outstanding. The food was delicious, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.“
