“Amazing Dogs!!!!! Tried this place out on a whim. Amazing, the dogs are great, toppings are carefully thought out, and the buns are butter toasted. You order through a kiosk, but the staff are great at helping you out and bringing the food to your table. I've had dogs in a lot of places, and this is by far one of the best I;ve had. Good Job Big Dogs!!!!”

“Siam Deluxe is a wonderful little spot. I get their lunch special more than I care to admit; we are on a first-name basis! The price and portions are excellent for both lunch and dinner, plus the Thai Iced Tea is so tasty. My go-to is the beef pad Thai and I really have not had any better anywhere else.”

“We held a (coed) baby shower upstairs on Sunday. The staff and management of The Trappe Tavern made planning, setting up and holding the baby shower such a breeze.The food was perfect, the staff went above and beyond to make sure the baby shower went off without any issues.The servers and bartenders took excellent care of everyone.It made for a perfect day!”

“This was a special dinner, a nine year anniversary of a relationship and we had a lovely time. The food was excellent, the service, efficient and unobtrusive and the atmosphere was good. There was unobtrusive but agreeable music. It had a distinctive atmosphere for me, reminiscent almost of 30s movies and I would recommend it for a memorable evening. When we went it was obviously prom time at a local school. Being a former Brit, this is not an experience I ever had and it was nice to see the formality of the students.Kid-friendliness: This is likely not a place to expect crayons and paper mats to colour in, but well behaved kids seemed welcome. It is an grown up dining experience and if you are trying to socialise your children, this is a good place to come to.”

“We came here a few times in the early Autumn with some friends who we hadn't seen in a while, because they wanted to introduce us to this place, knowing how I'm a big fan of the 1950s and would get a kick out of the awesome decor throughout. As soon as you walk in, you get greeted with memorabilia and even old movies playing on a projector screen. But more importantly, the food. I really enjoyed their chili dogs. Their crinkle fries are better than I'm used to elsewhere, but I still don't love them. Their Pepsi fountain sodas are OK (though they really should upgrade to Coca-Cola products), and their shakes are excellent (I tried the butterscotch shake one time). One thing I did not care for, however, was their malt. I literally did not get any malt flavor in my chocolate shake until quite literally the very end, because it was all caked on the bottom of the cup and not mixed throughout. I know not to get that if we return to that place when they reopen. Weird that an indoors place like this would even close for the winter, that's usually the time of year I'm really craving this kind of food and atmosphere.”

“This is a hidden gem of Royersford. Chicken so tender its like butter and literally falls off the bone. The rice and beans is like none ive ever had before, and the plantains are perfection. The owners are so incredibly sweet and friendly. Cannot recommend this place more.”

“al pastor and birria tacos were so good! stopped by for taco tuesday with my friend and we were so impressed. the service was fast, the pastor was tender and flavorful, the birria was perfectly rich, and the tacos came with delicious roasted peppers and tortilla chips. honestly we were amazed that you can still get so much good food at such a good price around here. definitely stop by if you're around the collegeville area!!Kid-friendliness: there are some not kid-friendly items from the convenience store on display right near the ordering counter, so i would probably not take kids inside. food is great though!”

The pizza was delicious and the sausage was very high quality. The crust was nice and crispy and the vegetables were plentiful on the white pizza. Would love to try their other menu items as well.Vegetarian options: Lots of veggies that can be added. Many pizza options without meat.”

“I was in the area visiting from Canada and stumbled upon Handel's ice cream, and the ice cream was incredible. High quality ingredients, great service, and fair prices for the quality of the ice cream. This is what ice cream should be! Skip the gimmicks at the big chains, ignore the grocery store brands, and pick up some amazing ice cream from Handel's. I'll make a point of visiting next time I'm in the area.”
