“The guy that used to own this restaurant had horrible food the guy that owns it now make some of the best food in my opinion they have some specialty pizzas and they have a pretty big menu and the food is always good I have never had anything bad from here.“
“Absolutely a must stop for ice cream. They do serve other foods like pizza and hot dogs, etc. The shop atmosphere sends you back to the 50's! Everything was great, including the friendly service. We'll be frequenting Weaver's on our regular trips between Virginia and western NY.“
“On our way to Buffalo we googled gluten-free and found this restaurant a couple of minutes out of our way.Arriving at the restaurant it looked a bit suspect. Walking in I was pleasantly surprised. It lent itself to a rustic vibe, welcoming and warm. Charming in a sense. It was made even more special by the lady behind the register. She and the staff fit right into this atmosphere. Friendly, helpful and outright amazing. You just want to strike up a deeper chat.We had a fold-over and pizza, both gluten-free. Let’s just say that it was superb !! Totally caught us off guard. From the visual aspect u just didn’t correlate that food to that place. In our rust we didn’t take photos and that really saddened me. I wish everyone can stop here and experience this. Amazing!!Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free“
“La Casa de Pizza is an old favorite of mine, going back to my freshman year in college. For twenty years I have counted on these folks for a consistently good roast beef grinder, a mushroom/meatball spaghetti and garlic bread! If they had an off day, I really can't remember it. It's a simple place with a simple menu. They serve the local folks more so than the college crowd in the store. That may be different in their delivery business. The prices have been very fair here, wait times are never too long, and they are open late. Add to that two clean bathrooms for patrons and you have a pretty great establishment.A couple of areas for improvement: the entrance is not accessible, stroller or wheelchairs would be hard/impossible to bring in. They have a high chair for kids, but there is only one and it wasn't available when I visited with the family. I don't think they get too many little ones, and the menu isn't catered for children either. This year marks 50 years in business for this family-owned establishment. When most of Market Street's businesses have been replaced, this one has stood the test of time.“
“First time dining here. Our group had steak stromboli, margarita pizza and chicken Parm dinner. Everything was top notch. Loved the dough on the pizza and stromboli, so light and airy. Best chicken Parm around and served by an excellent waitress.“
“Very clean with welcoming employees who always great you with awesome, friendly people working there. Love the subs, dinners and cheesesteaks. Most of all, we love the freshest baked breads for subs and dinners. Even I buy them to go. If you love Italian, this location is OIP is the best in area without driving for miles! Daily specials are always nice with great prices and a variety of choices. They have delivery and take out as well. Plenty of seating for dining for a large group of people.Parking: In plaza.Kid-friendliness: Family atmosphere from young to older.Wheelchair accessibility: It’s all one level with handicapped parking near entrance.“
“We were in town for a wedding and bar hopped afterwards. Not only was this place closed when we showed up… They decided to welcome us in and whipped a pizza up for us. That alone makes pizza phi stand out. Now that we’ve eaten the pizza there is no doubt that there’s not a better choice in the area. Phenomenal pizza, with a staff that is second to none. Kudos and 5 stars to this establishment.“
“Every time I come back from Ohio to visit family, this OIP is one of my first stops. The subs are our first thing to grab once we hit town, and they are my go to stop for cheese steak. The staff is always friendly, and the food is always top-notch. The fresh bread for the sandwiches is amazing and the pizza crust has the perfect amount of chew to it. Love this location, and Giovanni is an amazing guy. Wish they could get a franchise in Toledo.“
“This place is exactly the same as it was 20 years ago except back then they had small jukeboxes at each table. Takes me back to childhood everytime i eat there and how i would get excited to throw the trash out in the lions mouth lol. The lion is still there actually. Thanks for remaining constant and allowing those good memories to be a reality once again.“
“We were traveling through Allenwood discussing lunch and saw Original Italian Pizza and pulled in. What a great decision! We ordered two slices of pizza each. The slices came out hot and not greasy. Then we took a bite and smiled at each other. Super awesome pizza! The atmosphere was great and the service was amazing! This was a true WOW-Moment! I know we will stop again if we are coming through this region in the future.“
“Oh wow. Stopped here on our way to NYC from Michigan - what a delightful little gem. Owner’s family is from Sicily - gracious hosts. Sauce is to die for. Absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. Will return on our way back for sure!“
“Not only was this guy open on Christmas. The food was amazing. Wings were tender on the inside with just enough crunch, and you get a ton of them for 25$. Enough for 3-4 people. Blue cheese sauce went with it perfectly. Cheesesteak Stromboli is just as good. Bread was fully cooked and still fluffy. He didn't over burden it with peppers, didn't overflow it with cheese. All with good flavors n nothing overpowering. Would absolutely recommend this place.“
“My companion lives locally and suggested Sammy's as she's eaten there often. I chose the chef salad which was loaded with ham, turkey and cheese along with olives, grape tomatoes and cucumbers. It was delicious. My friend had the open face hot roast beef and fries. She was not as delighted.“
“The reviews brought me here.Walking in and viewing the menu I thought we had made a mistake. The server was very good, very helpful and personable. Then the food came out. Oooooh man. Oh man! My wife said it was the best gyro she had ever had. I had the fettuccine. So creamy, lots of sauce. Incredible. 9 and 10 out of 10 on the food from my wife and I. Ermagherd it was so tasty. The atmosphere threw us off, it didn't seem like it matched the rest of the experience is all.More please.“
“If you are close to this small town, either because you are on your way somewhere else or are staying in the surrounding area, you should definitely stop by and try this place. It's not just the quality of the service and the family atmosphere, the food is very delicious and abundant, two people can eat one plate perfectly.Personally, I didn't try the pizza but they looked delicious. As an extra fact, they prepare homemade bread which is just as delicious. Many greetings and success!!Vegetarian options: The salads are amazing“
“I have been enjoying bertonis pizza for exactly 20 years now. There can be plenty of debate by pizza lovers as to what makes a pizza great, for me it is the dough and how well it is risen , when cooked does it get a crispy , fully cooked crust while maintaining a soft and chewy inside and can it absorb the grease released by the cheese and pepperoni ( only way to eat a pizza besides anchovy and pepperoni). The answer is bertonis has the best crust in as far of an area that I am aware of. In my house we fight over the crust. We unfriend anyone who says they don't eat crust. And a calzone, my wife and I start at the closed dough end for each and usually have middle with toppings left because the dough is that special. The owners are dedicated to their families and their business 1st and 2nd. And haven't deviated from that compass once since I have known them. Some reviewers ask for more hours of operation. I live close by and observe the work hours that Mark and family put in . It is darn near 24 hours a day starting day before they open each week through all open hours. Would the dough stay perfect in production if Father and son hired outside of family. Not very likely. I will take perfect crust when they can offer it / over maybe not always perfect but always available.,,, Forever please... And thank you be smart order early on the weekends there is a reason they are super busy don't expect them to do more to accommodate you. Do more to help them stay a diamond in the rough. Family owned small business with morals and good values and ethics.“
“This was my first time at Buzz's!! My wife had been coming there for years! We were passing the area, hungry and she said ..Hey! Let's go to Buzz's I haven't been there in years!! She was so pleasantly surprised by the way they remodeled it from her last time there .... The waitress, Zoey, I believe, was a true delight! Very helpful and obviously enjoys her job there. Just watching her banter with other customers, with us and hearing her laughing from the back of the house. She is a keeper! The place is decorated with nice bright white walls, with a lot of "For Sale" Americana type wall hangings. It's very bright and clean! For me that is a plus! Our food, a cheese steak for me and a Turkey club for her, came out in a timely manner! OMG was it good!!! The bread was fresh, the steak was tender, the sandwich assembled as requested, for both of us. Even the fries n onion rings were on point!I had to ask ... Why wait so long to show me this spot, 15 yr together and I am just getting to this wonderful spot!We will return! Maybe y'all can add a Ruben to the menu ?.... Maybe !??!“
“This place has one of the best strombolis around. Awesome size and awesome ingredients. The strombolis are certainly a favorite around of asking others about what they think of the place and I've experienced that individuals love the strombolis and it's very well known for them around local areas and very pleasing responses from the locals. Seriously awesome work and I hope you each have a amazing future how I mean.“
“We only ate at the restaurant. Appetizers are small portions for the price. Shrimp rolls were pretty good and the mozzarella sticks went quickly. I'm told the steaks are amazing, 14-oz only. Come hungry or share! Crab cakes were surprisingly good. Not too salty and plenty of crab meat.“
“You can always get a tasty bite at a reasonable price. They hane tasty burgers, tasty fresh cut fries, and creative ideas for flavored chips, too. Don't forget a tasty whoopie pie for desert! Also, this is a Mennonite run and staffed business. Leave your rudeness at home. These are beautiful people serving humbly.Parking: PlentyKid-friendliness: It's a safe and friendly environment that welcomes children.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access“
