This diner has always been my go-to diner in Upper Darby. The food portions are big and delicious for the money. Let's not let these gems of our community fade. All the new places out there cut corners and don't have the hand-me-down recipes. Keep it up LD. Would love some Halal options.

Delicious desserts. My Mom loves the home-made soups and the other lunch fare. We haven’t been there for dinner, but I have a friend who was a regular customer for the liver and onions. There is not much for me as I am vegetarian. The hash browns are delicious but the eggs are so-so and the cheese is rubbery. I am spoiled as I usually eat range free organic eggs. That aside, the price is right for decent diner fare if you eat meat and fish. And the best part is the atmosphere and the staff- Five stars for that!

Our favorite local diner. Breakfast portions are HUGE and so tasty. Love snapper soup for lunch and dinner - always our go to when we’re there! Highly recommend!

Please don't order with them from doordash they got my order wrong TWICE in 2 weeks. The first time as french toast instead of pancakes. And homefries. The second time I got home fried instead of grits. Atp I don't want to order from them anymore.
I especially enjoyed the Diner's History.The famous scene in the Oscar nominated movie Silver Linings Playbook, starring Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper takes place there.If you're early, you might even get to eat in the booth where they sat?

Good diner food, friendly staff, somewhat reasonable prices, sunny dining room and counter service. With other local diners closing up shop in the last few years (Hot Spot, Manoa), other than chains like Perkins and iHop, Llanerch, which has been around for 70+ years and survived closing for a year after a fire during Covid has maintained its presence in the community. The diner scene from Silver Linings Playbook was filmed here and you can still sit on the same booth as Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence. A solid place to have breakfast lunch or dinner.
