We were in the hotel for a school graduation event in the meeting space, figured we'd grab dinner on site to make it easy. The menu was a simple one page affair, printed paper so it's nice that it changes often I guess. We had a flatbread that the girls loved and I had a smokehouse chicken salad with a BBQ vinaigrette dressing that was awesome.I can't rave about the atmosphere as it is simply an aged hotel, pretty vanilla. The service and value, however, were great and you shouldn't hesitate to stop by.Kid-friendliness: We didn't see any choices that were kid-specific, but before we asked our server, he suggested chicken strips and fries, lol. Worked out great.

We chose to attend the Easter buffet at Maxwell's. There was no problem with seating arrangements and our waitress was very attentive in providing beverages and refills. The main entrees, ham, beef and lamb were set up in the far end of the dining room while side dishes, salads, rolls and desserts were located in a smaller room. This would have been the breakfast buffet room for hotel guests. There was not a great variety of vegetables and with the lack of labeling, you could not be completely sure of the identity of the food. Another diner and I were debating on what the soup could be until a brunch employee informed us that it was potato leek soup. (I would never have guessed it but it was delicious. Overall you certainly enjoyed a brunch at a remarkably reasonable price.

The food was very good better than what I expected due to the place looking outdated it could use a facelift badly but the staff was very friendly and the food was very good!!

Here on business. Steak was done perfectly drink was made right. Customers service was fast and friendly
We had a group of 15 for a Christmas party. It was beautifully decorated but that's all that was good. The food was not good and it was expensive for the amount that was served. The service wasn't bad and the drinks flowed freely from our party's open bar. But we left still hungry.

The customer service is consistently speedy, lovely character, very welcoming staff. I will visit again when I get nearby.
