I wish I could give this place even more stars. Driving through pa, we decided to stop here for dinner and I am so glad we did. The atmosphere was so wonderful and everyone was very sweet and kind. You can tell they made their food with heart. It was all so incredible. Going to have to drive back through this way just to stop and say hi and of course, enjoy some sushi. Thank you!!!!

Despite how busy it was, the restaurant maintained impeccable service, with the proprietor exuding warmth and kindness to every diner. The ambiance was lively, brimming with contented customers savoring their meals.The moment I stepped in, I was greeted with genuine hospitality, indicative of the care and attention to detail. Despite the crowd, the wait time was surprisingly short, a testament to their efficiency and dedication to customer satisfaction.Each dish was flavourful, crafted with fresh ingredients. The vegetable tempura, sweet potato roll and Camp David roll are immaculate.Vegetarian options: As far as I remember, there are usually troves of vegetarian options in places like this and the staff here has always been gracious with curious questions. Sushi doesn't always mean meat of some sort.

Sapporo is hands down, the best Japanese restaurant in the area. We took the trip to Waynesboro from Hagerstown in September for my wife's birthday, and it was more than worth the 1 hour round-trip drive. Their sushi is phenomenal, their service is great, and their owner is terrific.We tried various sushi options, and I can not remember the names of all of them, but we thoroughly enjoyed all of them. Just look at how beautifully they were presented in the included pictures. I can definitely recommend the eel and avocado sushi. That was one of our favorites.My wife and I visited again in February to celebrate Valentine's Day. We got the Eel Sushi, Salmon Sushi, High Rock Roll, Seared Dragon Roll, Sapporo Fever Roll, and Shogun Roll. They were all excellent. If I had to recommend anything, it would be their nigiri sushi. The salmon sushi was so good that I got another one after I finished the rest of my food. It was so fatty and fresh; it served as a nice contrast to the rich sushi rolls we had. I probably could have eaten 10 more of the salmon sushi alone.
