“I knew I was in for somethin special when I walked up into their parkin' field and saw small rocks gravellin it up all fancy like. This upscale establishment had walls from floor to ceiling on all sides. It even had not one, but two doors to go through. And get this, they on the hinges! Wow. But that's nothing compared to what I discovered entering the final door... the floor... i thought they forgot to put da sawdust down and Id be walking on raw dirt, naw, naw, it was better than saw dust. You ever hear of fellers puttin down wood across an entire floor? That must have taken a lot of dedicated non drinkers a lot of time. It nearly brought a tear to my eye to know they cared enough for me to spend all that time for me. I went to look up to the Heavens and thank God, but I couldn't see a cloud in sight. You know that dang place had a roof on it? And not any normal roof, a roof without a hole in it? Well I forgot what happened next, but I woke up in a ditch, pulled out my phone and wrote this review. I'm not sure if it was real or some kind of dream, but if I can find my way back to the country, where all the people want to be nice to everyone(like everyone everyone should learn to be nice to each other) , I'd walk right back in. Love's the way. Love is eternal.“

“Went after a long bike ride and really enjoyed the experience. The waitress was awesome and brought us over pitchers of drinks for refills. The pizza was good not great, and same with the Buffalo chicken wrap. The corn bread stole the show and was a delicious desert. Perfect resturant for GAP trail riders.“

“For my family's first time here, we were super impressed by how clean, friendly, and good the food was. The service was great, and we had a wonderful time. It is laid out perfect inside, and is the perfect place to go to with friends, family, or your kids. We started with appetizers of the zucchini, poutine fries, and pretzel. For dinners, we tried the burger, steak salad, chicken tender basket, and the steak pita. We all loved everything we had, and couldn't find one negative about anything. We can't wait to go back again, and try something else!“

“Been here twice so far, both times in their new location. The first time we got two different pizzas for take out and took them down to the park a few minutes away and ate them for lunch. I can't remember exactly which ones they were, but they were pretty good. I think one was a margarita style and that one was good. The other one I think had pepperoni or salami on it and it was not my favorite, the meat was very strong, it tasted a little aged or maybe even old. I will avoid anything with that on it from now on. The second time I ate here was eat-in. I wasn't feeling adventurous so I just got the 50/50 burger, the meat was 50% beef and 50% pork and wow was that a satisfying burger. The toppings were super basic, not even any tomato, I think it was just cheese and lettuce, but the flavor of the patty made up for the lack of toppings. It was very flavorful and had a great texture. I will definitely get that again. We also got the buffalo cauliflower for an appetizer and they were really good. I'm not one of those people who thinks that buffalo cauliflower is somehow comparable with actual Buffalo wings, but good Buffalo cauliflower is its own thing and it's delicious, so I would get that again as well. I also appreciated that the bathroom was spotless, I think there's a lot to be said about the attention to detail that a restaurant staff has if their bathrooms are clean and attended to. It's a small dining room so I'm sure on a busy night there will be a wait, even though it's a little out of the way of the main road, but it's worth the drive and the wait. I will definitely be back.“

“I did a takeout order and the lady on the phone was very helpful with how to order and explaining the menu. When I got there I met the owner, she told me that everything is made homemade and after eating the food I can tell it was. That was the best Mac n cheese I’ve ever had and the potato pancakes were out of this world. I highly recommend for anyone looking for something quick or catering. 10/10 would go again and 10/10 highly recommend!!“

“This old school house serves up a delicious lunch menu. (Go to White Dove spa upstairs first.) Their Turkey Devonshire uses real roasted turkey (unlike a famous downtown venue.) Highly recommend the soup & lunch salad. Don't miss the homemade pastry selections!“

“Love this local place. Great "bar" food. Wings are the best anywhere. And the buff chick dip is yummy too. Only thing that affects negatively is when the door to the bar (smoking) area is left open or opened frequently because that smell comes through dining area. But still love this place. We had take out pizza from their previous Hahntown shop, finally dined in at the new location today and we had the Autumn Salad, Meatball Hoagie and Buffalo Cauliflower. On a whim my husband ordered the brownie with ice cream, the best ever!! He can't wait to try their other homemade desert offerings on future visits.“

“Just left Applebee's on Magill (sp?) road. What fantastic service ?. Our server's name is Farrah (again, spelling may not be accurate), and she was incredible. I worked in the service industry for 20+ years while managing and training employees, and I have never seen someone bust their @!$ like I did back then. I never write employee-directed reviews, but Farrah deserves a raise if she hasn't gotten one already!“

“The mushroom swiss burger was excellent. My spouse had shrimp scampi which he said was good but meal was small.... nothing served but small portion of shrimp and noodles. ( no side salad or bread) The dinner cost was too expensive . The sandwiches were well priced. Our server was excellent.“

Plenty of parking, a good amount of seating, and friendly staff here to serve you. I was skeptical on the food, but our server mentioned a special on a pizza, which we jumped at. There was even a special on a sandwich which was very good and not overwhelming. I just had to get their chips and homemade French onion dip. I’m not much of a potato chip person, but here, they had me. Consistency was great, not crazy salty, and perfect dip. Seriously, I could eat those bad boys all day. It’s one of the places where you aren’t expecting much but they hit you in the sweet spot. I didn’t realize how hungry I was, and I kept eating. American style bar/ restaurant, homely and filling. “This restaurant is local to us and I've probably passed it literally 1000 times driving around since I was 16 and never stopped for a snack or a meal so, I took my mother here for her 83rd birthday last week and will definitely be back...Perfectly cooked and presented food and exemplary service is the key here... The interior definitely gives you the 70's vibe but, you're not going here to eat the decorations right ???I definitely suggest to get there early because at 8pm (They close at 9pm) they were out of the Lobster Special and the soup of the day which was Lobster Bisque...I had a perfectly cooked Blackened Ahi Tuna that I very much enjoyed and my mom had the Chicken Parmesan which was perfectly prepared as well...I'm probably gonna go back this weekend for a quick sammich/snack on the fly because the first experience was just really good...Overall, I'd absolutely recommend this place anytime you're feeling a bit hungry and don't feel like cooking ???“

“I have nothing but good things to say about the Riverhouse. They helped us greatly when it came time to plan a luncheon for after a funeral. They opened up for us and could not have been any nicer. The staff especially Marley and one of the owners Jimmy really helped us out. We ate there a total of 3 times including the luncheon that week and everything was perfect everytime. They really made a stressful time in your life alot easier.“
